This weeks theme is SMOKIN'

Basically, Beerzy wants to see shots with the coolest smoke or with huge amounts of it.
Note that the main goal is smoke, you can get just a portion of the car in the shot if you want to.

Cars: Any, except race cars
Track: Any, except night tracks (dusk is fine)
Phototravel: Of course not

~ Only one entry may be submitted, mark it clearly as Final Entry.
~ Previews may be posted, but must be no larger then 400X300.
~ You may change your Final Entry once.
~ All images to be uploaded at Imageshack.
~ Photoshop or other graphics programs may only be used to crop, resize, adjust brightness/contrast, gamma, hue/saturation, rotate, add a border or small signature, or to remove the "Gran Turismo/©SCEI" watermark, if you so wish.
~ If you don't have Photoshop or other professional image management software, try a shareware one such as Picasa or GIMP.
~ Have Fun and feel free to PM me if you have anything you want to ask or discuss.

Alright I think this is my first competition so I have no idea how to make the image a perfect size. I tried searching but idk if I missed that particular thread. Sorry.

I think I know how, there is a way to accentuate the smoke in replays It's been mentioned in the past but few pLayer's seem to rem3mber it Oops I've said too much

However that aside, it looks more like a spin than a drift to me, but I may be wrong. Regardless it's a great shot.

Lol, I do remember it. Did not use it though, didn't really work for my shot.

Heavily colour zonked by the computer (one click for me, just had to figure which pixel to click on) but otherwise unmodified.

You can almost tell the ol' battleaxe is dark metallic green, and not black.

(And in case you're wondering why the brake discs are glowing on some shots, those are left-foot braking burnout trials - 647hp + NOS, 24/1 brake split, up to fourth gear max revs standing still. )

Whats that mean? Fast Forward? If it is fast forward then yes.

How does that help?

Kinda difficult to explain. It spreads the smoke out a bit. The PS2 seems to hold smoke for a fixed time, so in fast forward, you've got more 'action' over which the smoke lays, if you like. Try it. Best to do low-speed drifting to catch what you want (that, or lots of replays!)
