This competition will run for 7 days. The deadline is July 30th.

Though FF drifting doesn't exist, I guess I will give it a try, for sake of competing. :)

Yeah, not really drifting, really just power-sliding. Time to get out the bald tires...

shouldn't it be week 52? were it says this:Week 54 Theme by Week 52 winner MinoltaMan89

He was speaking of drifting in real life. ;)

Actually, in game also applies. It's not drifting. Because to drift, the car must loss the traction on the rear wheels. And since FF cars only have traction (if you can even call that traction) on the front wheels, it kinda defeats the point.

By the way, in case you guys haven't tried yet, drive a FF car in reverse and witness how it could behave had it been FR. 👍 The power of weight transfer is amazing.

Most of the japanese FF cars that have more than 180hp. Also, the Ford Focus RS above, and my entry.

Final entry

FFs are just handicapped against the other drivetrains. You can easily confirm this by checking the 1/4 Mile times thread.

true - compared to a 4WD... but wheelspin can be produced as easy with a RWD, besides its mostly all about the settings, isn´t it?

Well, yeah... but tuning the car defeats the point. Besides, it's easier to control the wheelspin on any muscle car in GT4, than the SRT-4 posted above.

Anyways, if you want to, let's continue this in profile messages.

Actually... RWD does MUCH better in terms of traction thanks to the laws of physics. FF takes theoretically more force to create the initial wheelspin but the instant the vehicle moves forward weight shifts rearward and the FWD suddenly has much less traction than the RWD vehicle.

... :odd:
thanks for the explanation... NOW i know actually what i was talkin´ about...:mischievous:

Due to the engine being located in the front, thus improving traction, right? If not, I'm lost in the reasoning.

Interesting pic, by the way. This is one of the few times (if not the first) I have seen you enter a competition, Kyle. 👍
