So you are running the DriveHub in Fanalogic mode and not Fanatec mode? Changing that setting as well as updating the DriveHub firmware might solve my issues.
when changing the drivehub mode (share and option buttons pressed) the game runs fine now. but there is a lot of oscillation during the straights, did you try that? what settings should i modify to mitigate that?

edit: just noticed that changes it to the logitech g29 mode.. i thought it was set to that and that's why i was getting that issue.. any way to fix it on the csl elite mode?

Can anyone please help me. I'm running a new drivehub and CSL DD (not ps) for GT7 but it's oscillating on straights I can remove it mostly by muting all ffb (which is rubbish). When I have my wheel on compatibility mode drive hub auto detects it (says c2.5 then 0)

I bought all this just to play gt7 and it is horrible :(

All latest drivers

Yeah i have the same issue though i am on a CSW 2.5

Are you using the Fanalogic mode? (Emulates a G29) you can check by going to the game buttons mapping section and it will show you what “you have”. If i use the G29 mode i get the crazy oscillation and i have to turn the ffb down to 50-60% (and most of my v2 buttons are not properly recognized)

But if i use the fanatec compatibility mode (csl elite) the game starts stuttering, going below 60 fps 100% of the time.

I have tried updating the drivehub to the latest 2.8.0 version and other 4 beta versions and no help.

The issue starts happening as soon as i connect the hori controller to the hub. Think this is fixeable with a drivehub firmware update? :/

When I press share and options on the wheel it just triggers and auto detection which results in it reporting c2.5. I'm in bed atm but will check out the options tomorrow. I remember when I went to controller settings it had every wheel under the sun lol

Yes I am, however I can't confirm that's the root cause of your problem, only that I'm using the same equipment without issue (did about 500 miles so far today)

The oscillation (while going straight?) has been reported across platforms and games with the csl dd and gt dd. It has more to do with ffb in the consoles rather than drivehub or anything else. I had it at first until I played with my settings to get it 90% better. Fanatec claims it's a feature rather than a bug.

Anyone with a Thrustmaster TS-XW managed to get the Force Feedback working?

Tried both GT-Sport and Gran Turismo 7 and nothing. Can feel a bit of the weight as the car starts to lose grip but nothing else.

Currently running the latest firmware on the wheel and the 2.08 beta on the drive hub.

Same here. All firmware is up to date and I have no ffb at all.

I have TS-PC, I started with the FFB Max torque set at 2 which is how I normally set in GT Sport and it was basically no FFB. I ended up at 6 which seems ok. Not really any good detail of grip and a little bit curb impact feel. I feel like this is what I always feel I don't know how good the FFB actually is since I don't know how "native" this FFB is with the drivehub...

Granted I probably stopped playing GT Sport 2 years ago....so my reference is pretty out of date..

I have CSP V3 plugged into the accessories, TS-PC in the wheel port. I am not sure how I did this before, but my TH8RS plug into any of the PS4 USB(not TH8A) doesn't seem to be working on PS4 at all(or anymore?)

I've got it set to 10 and not feeling a thing. I've even done a hard reset on the PS4 and made sure everything is plugged in prior to starting up the console.

TH8A needs to be plugged into the accessory port when using the drive hub. It will then work.

What settings have you gone for to get rid of most of it?

i feel like theres lag with gimx+drivehub or its because of the g29 emulation. i cant control any slide the wheel just snaps from one side to another and curbs dont give any ffb. thinking about getting a t gt

i just checked and i have every wheel under the options menu in GT7. from CSL DD to Logitech G29.

I am experiencing the same thing. I am on a CSW 2.5 wheelbase with V3 pedals. GT7 is choppy as hell, and i can't even finish the first music rally because somehow it is tied to the framerate and you are slow. I tried plugging in the base and using the controller, and i couldn't get past the 5th checkpoint either. Unplugged the base and the game was much more smoother and could do gold no issues.

Is this Sony's way to block drivehub players?
Got exactly the same issue on CSW 2 and PS4. Somehow the framedrop does not change the ingame time, so no chance of mastering music rallies or license tests. Changed drivehub to Logitech Mode and then it runs fine. But the FFB is much worse. Oscillating on straights, no chance of countersteering when oversteering and no feedback from curbs or environment.
Drivehub updated yesterday and CSW is also up to date.
Worked fine in GT Sport :( .

simucube 1 with a mige motor + using g27ps3 firmware with gimx (only because i dont have a dualshock4 anymore)

Contact drivehub’s support team so hopefully they can fix it.

I got this reply from them:

“Thanks XXX, we'll take a look it must have differences in protocol going on.

Their contact email is support@collectiveminds.ca

I am using a Drivehub, CSW 2.5 and PS4 with Horipad and I can't say I have noticed any issues in GT7 and I am using the Fanatec mode, no idea what firmware the DH is using.

Are you sure it is on fanatec mode? could you verify the drivehub version?

Sens: They say to use auto, but using gr2 cars especially, I check cockpit view and adjust it to match.

I'll note which settings have more effect with an asterisk *

FF: 60
FFS: PEAK
DPR:50*
NFR:25
NIN: 30*
INT: 02*
FEI: 100
FOR: 100
SPR: 100
DPR: 100*
BLI: 85 (PERSONAL CHOICE)
BRF: 70 (PERSONAL CHOICE)

I seem to have run into a problem with the regular CSL DD (not the Pro) and GT7 with the DriveHub. When using the CSL DD in CSW compatibility mode and the Hori Mini pad, there is considerable framerate drop and the force feedback feels choppy. I have no issues in GT Sport. If I try with the wheelbase in PC or Xbox mode the game crashes at the loading screen. I’d like to know if anyone else is experiencing the same issues. Thanks!

Thought I was going crazy I also noticed the framerate drop when I connected up my CSL DD with the drivehub. Dunno how to drivehub should cause framerate issues though.

yep 100% a issue. i was just using the controller to drive. Drivehub was still connected, could see the speed going up on the rim. Even while using the controller i could see/feel the framerate hit. unplugged the drivehub issue gone.

these settings defo help but the ffb is very minimal. thanks

Was going mental with the framerate issues until I found this thread.

CSL Elite + Clubsport V3 Pedals and in Fanatec Mode, I too get the framerate issues.

I do hope that we get a firmware update or whatnot soon.

+1, GT7 (PS5) + Fanatec CSW 2.5 + DriveHub - Fanalogic mode works okay but has center oscillation, Fanatic mode causes the game to stutter and is unplayable.
