Haven't updated it recently, just had a check and it's on 1.1.1Out of curiosity, what firmware is your shifter on?

Ok. Thats the same as mine. The only version available to download is 1.0.11 (which I haven’t done). I’m guessing it’s either my shifter or my specific DriveHub. I might try again without the powered USB hub, though that was giving me issues too.Haven't updated it recently, just had a check and it's on 1.1.1
Interesting, I don't think I was given the option to "upgrade" (downgrade?) to 1.0.11 when I plugged it into my PC to check the firmware version.Ok. Thats the same as mine. Are you running on a PS4, PS5, or PS5 Pro?
SimMagic has separate software to upgrade the DS-8X.Interesting, I don't think I was given the option to "upgrade" (downgrade?) to 1.0.11 when I plugged it into my PC to check the firmware version.
Just the standard PS5. Might sound silly but have you tried using a different USB cable?
Where did you purchase the ds-8x? I may roll the dice and grab one.Quick update on testing the Simagic DS-8X shifter with the Logitech GPRO, did some longer races (Sardegna 800 etc) over the weekend using the H-pattern + clutch. Everything worked as expected, no issues.
I didn't get around to testing sequential mode though
I'm based in New Zealand, so purchased it last year from an official reseller here (simblacks.co.nz)Where did you purchase the ds-8x? I may roll the dice and grab one.
I’ve debating pulling the trigger on the Fanatec since my DS-8X woes started. 🤣Today I've received my Fanatec shifter and the drivehub. I updated the firmware for both and connected to PS5 Pro with Logitech G Pro wheel and paddles. The shifter is working flawlessly without any issues on GT7. Really happy with the results.
This might be better directed towards DriveHub's support if you haven't already sent them a message. The figure 8 means it's waiting for input on something. My guess is that it won't work without a wheel. I'm also unsure if Xbox limits the number of "wheels" that can be connected to the console at a time like on PS5. If this is true, then your setup would likely not work as both the DriveHub and R3 would register as "wheels" to the console. Though, again, CreativeMinds would have a better grasp on what is supported and how. There's a chance you'll just have to wait for R3 support to come from CreativeMinds.Looking for a definitive answer for this (lots of different stuff saying different things, and features and modes can come and go with firmware changes):
The simple question: Can the DriveHub function with only an accessory and a controller attached. No wheel.
The tldr:
I have a DriveHub, it works great with my T150 + Fanatec Clubsport handbrake.
Now upgraded to a new wheel, native to the Xbox (Moza R3). Wheel works great plugged directly into Xbox. Does not work when plugged into either the wheel or controller port of the DriveHub (no surprise, not a DH supported device, but because it is Xbox native, hoped it might work through the controller port)
With no wheel attached to the DH (just the handbrake in the accessory port and an Xbox controller in the controller port for authentication), the DH identifies the handbrake on the display, then goes to the "racing figure eight" display. No "E" (error) message. But it doesn't work. In one game (FH5?) it does ... something ... more like it just steers hard right or something. But nothing recognizes it when setting the handbrake input mapping in games.
