Thankyou very much for the compliment @diobel ! much appreciated :)

@torque99 that 1.19 in the mini was flat out, it can be improved to be fair, i hit 2 corners on that lap so i can shave a little more at some point (might go back to it in minute actually lol), im also on cockpit view and manual gears, difficult to explain without posting a massive comment but its mostly about your track positioning for the corners, take a left hand corner for example, stay hard right, slow down a little more than you may be doing now, you want to be hitting full throttle as you go past the 'half way' point for the corner so your powering out the other side, 'kissing' the apex as you as go through, if your sliding out the other side your either entering the corner to fast, got your track position wrong or hitting the gas to early. if your sliding out the other side (understeer) your losing momentum coming out the other side. start slow entering the corners and lap after lap ease it up until you know your on the limits :) track knowledge is of course vital, if you dont know the track your always up against it ;)

a car will throw its weight over to the right or left depending which way the corner goes, which is why you need to be hard right for left hand corner, if you attack the corner from the middle of the track you make the turn to severe, the body of the car gets thrown over onto 2 wheels, you lose traction and slide out, meaning your dipping the brake's again and coming off the throttle, losing hundreds of a second in the process. SMOOTH IS FAST !

Great thanks @GameOver77 I will have a try - I am normally pretty fast on TT with my times so maybe on this track I will try to slow down a touch and drop a gear etc, just watched a video of the world record so took a few hints on that but its amazing once you keep trying you can beat times. Well done anyhow 👍

Question to you all
DId any of you try to do panormaic photo in DC and if yes what software did you use.
I try to use HUGIN but there is no way to end up with panoramic photos - any chance if you did can you help.
I always use hugin for my gt6 photos but with DC Hugin failed or maybe i do something wrong.
Thanks

Your welcome @torque99 , managed to knock another 400th's of a second off so im on something like a 1.19.030 now, took a screen shot and will upload at some point, do you have a link to this video, the guy in top spot for that is about 1.2 seconds quicker, thats 400th's of a second PER SECTOR quicker than me ! would like to see how he did it if you have a link please?

Great pics 👍 I have been doing the same (to follow ;)) some great race events in the past tours, So many I haven't got the full stars on. I am finding some a bit tough & frustrating if honest. I need more practice and patience on the drifting and long point to points in between playing pcars is not easy to swap the two.

That mini adventure @ lake shuji how did @GameOver77 get 1.19!! I am working my way with a second off every time I try -flat out at nearly every corner, cockpit view manual gears..I need to see where to shave more seconds off back to try again later to even get near your time @Nato_777 👍!!!.and then the California recent one round Chile race track-I am thrashing that beast of a car full to the max every second round the track--Great Fun - love it :D I must concentrate on the road more not the photo opportunities or scenery!!!:gtpflag:
Thanks, most of the tours I only did the first half or so, getting to the 'Rising star' trophy or whatever it's called and then didn't get around to doing the rest of the events so I've been doing those and getting my 'Completionist' trophies. :)
Every now and then a tour throws up a difficult challenge but mostly I can get all the stars easy enough. The RUF drift event in the Unite in Speed tour stumped me for a bit and I usually breeze through the drift events - changed to chase cam and got it in the end. For some reason if I struggle with a drift event I can get it in chase cam (and I hate chase cam!) Go figure! :odd:
For time trials as @GameOver77 says it's all about corner entry - I always initially go in too hot and it's only when I calm down and back off a bit for the corner entries that I get better times. The Mini Adventure I started in the 1:27's, got down to 1:24's and then when I sorted the entries better got into the 1:22's. I reckon I can get to the low 1:21's maybe high 1:20's but don't think I can match GameOver's 1:19's.

I've done a couple of panoramas in DC (here)- I use Serif's PanoramaPlus X4. Something about DC photos does make it more difficult to get successful panoramas though. I've had a number of attempts that the software couldn't find a match to stitch the photos together even though there was clearly an overlap.
