Thankyou very much for the compliment @diobel ! much appreciated
@torque99 that 1.19 in the mini was flat out, it can be improved to be fair, i hit 2 corners on that lap so i can shave a little more at some point (might go back to it in minute actually lol), im also on cockpit view and manual gears, difficult to explain without posting a massive comment but its mostly about your track positioning for the corners, take a left hand corner for example, stay hard right, slow down a little more than you may be doing now, you want to be hitting full throttle as you go past the 'half way' point for the corner so your powering out the other side, 'kissing' the apex as you as go through, if your sliding out the other side your either entering the corner to fast, got your track position wrong or hitting the gas to early. if your sliding out the other side (understeer) your losing momentum coming out the other side. start slow entering the corners and lap after lap ease it up until you know your on the limits track knowledge is of course vital, if you dont know the track your always up against it
a car will throw its weight over to the right or left depending which way the corner goes, which is why you need to be hard right for left hand corner, if you attack the corner from the middle of the track you make the turn to severe, the body of the car gets thrown over onto 2 wheels, you lose traction and slide out, meaning your dipping the brake's again and coming off the throttle, losing hundreds of a second in the process. SMOOTH IS FAST !
