End Of The Road.

Just found out about Sony shutting Evolution down. Why? I have no clue. They were one of the very last truly genuine studios. A studio that actually cares about the community, and not how much money they are putting in their own pockets.

While yes, DC had a rocky start, Evo had completely turned it around to create a thoroughly enjoyable game, and Sony thanks them by pulling the plug?

🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬...

Thanks torque99 and MeanElf  In firework shot, I had a lot of luck ;) At first, I thought Evo updated sunset, because a lot of light came from sky, but when I entered photo mode I saw that this were fireworks and they blow earlier than normally creating a lot of light :) Moon shot is from Finish Line Tour duel, right after event start :) Two great photo opportunities in last car tour 👍 And yes, great to see this thread is still strongly going on 👍👍👍

This is still the best photomode out there :)))
Bar none!

Still a bit moody, but lightening toward the end. I think in some ways, the photo mode threads here will thrive more as a result.

I have to disagree there. Having used the photomodes on all the major racing games on PS/XB, Forza Motorsports comes out on top. The freedom to do what you want far exceeds that of say DC or GT. Sure, there's things you can achieve on Driveclub that can't be achieved on other games, but it's let down by the lack of dedicated contrast/brightness settings.

I think that the brightness is very full and varied in DC and leaves nothing to be desired - true, contrast could do with more options.

Not having ever played Forza, I can't really judge how their photo mode works, but a few people I follow on Flickr do present a fair few images from F6 and either they are doing it wrong, or the whole is a bit too flat and clean - I mean it doesn't come out as lively or 'lived in' as DC does.

I'd say they are doing something wrong.

Here's a few examples of my work on GT5/6, Forza 4/6, and Driveclub to show the differences. I'll post 3 each to keep it short. (Hopefully the moderators are fine with this. If not, they can always delete.) You can see by them where each excels.
