@wdreamsmaycome Yeah same happens to me, their servers are more hit than miss lately but I still get times where I couldn't get into a race.

I haven't really had the chance to try online this week - work has been hell, bloody Easter (it's like people think it is Christmas again) Anyway, I know it was bad for the past week or two - something I put down to the popularity of the Lamborghini pack and the Wombat. I shall definitely be giving it a go from Monday though.
 
I am back to playing after I replaced my ps4. I downloaded "Lamborghini Expansion" and the Dune Buggy and I love all the lamborghini except for the gallardo. The brakes on that car locks up very easily. All of the lamborghinis set a fast time. The Dune Bunny though, is terrifying.

I actually got a surprise yesterday, jumped on my other account which I'd sort of neglected for a long while and found I could use a Lamborghini to slaughter the AI in one of the tour races.

I mean, I'm not surprised really, as they are within the class requirement, it's just like a different game played from that perspective :)
 
I wish one of these updates made the 'legendary' AIs faster! anyways looking forward to the private lobbies hopefully this month, would be nice and hopefully will make online racing even better

Yep, I was just joshing :D It's always about the same time every month, so next week we'll get some sort of tease for a release soon after of the patch and then the packs near the end of the month

I was talking with friends here from Brazil and decided to bring my discussion here.
It would be too much to ask a super package of old cars or hyper ? and also a trajectory test with long straight speed or an oval track .

you share the same thought ? perhaps the DC hears us
 
I would love some more classics, such as the Normal McLaren F1, Jaguar XJ220, Ferrari F40 and so on.
I don't care much a speed test track, but would love to see free running added to the game.
 
Seeing as we got the F50 and F1 LM, I also wouldn't completely rule out more of the classic supercars.

I have heard something similar form a few other users. Originally wheel users had no photomode options, as there was no corresponding control for the touchpad. That was patched but a few have said similar things to what you have.

I think the only option is to use the wheel as normal, and unplug for the replays - that should do the trick, returning full control to the DS4.

I did some online racing in Driveclub and some weird bug appeared. I was first over the finish line but the results shows something else.

This is not a bug. It can happen if you start later than the others because the online time counter starts (and get resetted before) once you've started.

Speaking of bugs. There is guy in the community drift challenge who is able to score above 30,000 points. This is impossible without cheating or using a bug. He is the only one with such a high score on different tracks, mostly with the GTA Spano. 2nd, 3rd, 4th and so on have around 21,000 points... Sometimes the 2nd also has above 30k points, which is a member of the same club. Seems like they've found a bug/exploit.
 
An eight hour refit for the servers is now in force (started at 11:00 BST) so no online or challenges for the next seven hours.

We are rolling out major updates to the DRIVECLUB servers today to improve perfromance and stability for all aspects of online play.

The servers will be unavailable from 11am BST while this happens and the work is expected to take up to 8hrs. You can still play the game offline during this time.

Okay, so I only just got around to doing the Elements Trophy... I'm so glad I got that out of the way. Those last two races were absolutely ridiculous, I could not see a thing through the snow, the only way I managed was by following the other cars and even that was hard enough in those conditions. Glad I could use the Veneno for it though, that car is an absolute blast and I don't think I could've completed the event without it.

well, maybe it isn't bug, maybe it is just bad online code ... whatever. From my view, start of the race went well, I don't really know how they measure race time, but they do it wrong.

Online races in DC are destruction derby, so I don't play online much, e.g. that pos in the video crashed his way to first place from behind, I was too gentle when I caught him.

Yeah, I saw your challenge pop up and so went to DC and had a look. The server message was still there but I had full functionality in the game, so I'm guessing they were finished with the update early 👍

Well, ending in July, extended until August are pretty much the same thing ;) July is the last month that we'll get any cars under the current season pass, though hopefully that's not the end of it all.

I'm not really sure what 'a service' means in a game context.
