when you go online and do a time trial race with others, do you actually get that time registered in the circuit bests? it doesn't seem so but just wondering what others think, I have only ever gotten it there by doing 'single event' offline, I would've thought that if I did a time trial online and then went to the circuit top-50 or whatever I'd see my time there too...

Just a quick question , just got my PS4 and DC and have reading alot of theards here for a long time and know DC has great sounding engines but i just can seem to hear it in game

What are your sound settings ? I have tried outside view sound ,music off, road noise at -1db or something like that ,basicly everthing on low execpt engine but it is still low

Hi @diesel97 Welcome to the new world of PS4 and Driveclub 👍 Have you tried the SFX Master Volume sound (3rd option down in audio settings) - It is set at 100% as default but for some reason goes up to 130% (I didn't notice it for a while as I thought it was set at max 100%!) which I mentioned before for additional volume to default. The outside sounds should be pretty loud. Some of the earlier (release date cars) the cockpit sound is a bit quieter as initially they were going for realism of the cockpit but people on FB all wanted louder sounds so there is now the option to have internal or 'external' sound piped in.

I have engine vol +3db (max) and all others on a -db as the crash sounds and FX/menu music etc are too loud for me. Otherwise the game should sound pretty loud. I also play sometimes with a pair of quality sennheiser headphones (if I want it really loud without shaking the neighbours and the sounds are great)..I hope this helps..

I believe July is the last month for Season Pass DLC no?

Anywho, I wonder how the chaps at EVO will end off that arc. With a bang I suppose

Well frankly, the life cycle of the game is coming to an end for me anyway. Loved my time with it, am proud to have it platinumized, but the last tour packs somehow werent as fun to play as the previous ones. Even though I loved the Jag, the F40 and the ZL1.

You really mean you Love Drive Club but won't have any spare time soon as PCars is downloading today and you will be on that without any sleep for a month ;)👍

I will swap between the two as I like a sim and an arcade game to break things up.:sly:

I have been on pcars without any sleep for 3.5 years now, time to lean back and just enjoy it... And enjoy seeing yall peoples enjoy it. :D

My feelings regarding DC are unrelated to pcars, though. Somehow I m at a point where new events just dont kick me anymore like they used to. Maybe cause I got it platinumized now, dunno. Even with the new cars it feels a bit like "been there, done that" at this point.

Could we just not talk about PCars in here please? Frankly, I'm rather tired of hearing about the most overhyped racing game ever. A game that uses specific cars as promotional material for more than a year before release, and then hides those cars away as "extras" that you need to pay more money to get, does not deserve praise...

PCars looks nice, still have mad love for Driveclub though.

PCars weather is cool but yeah Driveclub still has it.

(It had to be done....)

I'm going to make a friendly wager.

If we get the RUF Yellowbird this month or the next then I will drink a 100ml bottle of cod liver oil and not feel disgusted :D

 But think of the psychological damage you'll incur, every time you see a Yellowbird in DC afer that you'll have a flashback to that taste ;)

Me, I don't mind cod liver oil...but 100ml?

Probably, only natural I suppose after such a long lead-time ;) Now's my chance to build my position back up on the leader board again 👍
I really don't want to know how far ahead of me you are now!

Was actually going to invest in the Driveclub season pass soon but between a good few Wii U games and that game Driveclub has took a backseat.

Only about 11 million ;)

DJW shot past me recently and is at around 65 million right now as the next person on my friend's list above me. I used to be up at the top, but the lure of other games distracted me long enough, so yeah, I fully understand that allure.

not for me at least, I have not bought that game after reading how the AI is for now, we'll see in the future, I am still having way too much fun in DC, graphically it's still as amazing as it first was (the lighting is just not something I've ever seen in other games) and it definitely scratches the driving gaming itch very well.

I just wish they would add a really long track, somewhat like the one in GT6.
I really enjoy driving the cars around, but while the P2P tracks have the most interesting surroundings, they are over so fast...

I'd like something along the lines of the Isle of Mann...a really long P2P which takes like 20 minutes.

Sup fellas? Just wanted to hop in and say I'm still playing DriveClub daily. I'm a sim guy too but Project Cars just looks like too much for me. Not to mention it looks a bit on the generic side... *Shrug*

On DriveClub though... I loved this recent DLC. Really diverse pack with the modern muscle cars, concept Golf, classic Ferrari, and the caffeine addict that is the Rimac LOL. Not to mention the Laferrari... Which needs no compliments. He's just fine on that front ;)

For May I really have a feeling this is the month we get the long-awaited GT-R, along with a couple of Japanese cars and maybe a Mustang.

Hopefully Evo adds some new tracks in the future but for now I'm kind of grateful the steady flow of new tracks has stopped. New tracks we're coming so quickly I didn't even have a chance to master them before the next batch came. Anyways, happy DriveClubbin' ya'll and feel free to add if me you continue to play. My challenge section is a little bare:gtpflag:

I took a temporary break from DC, busy days + Mass Effect Trilogy.
I'm trying to avoid Pcars videos as much as I can because It would be hard to resist the temptation.
No way I'm going to spend 500€ for a new wheel, pedals and gear lever because some idiot at Sony decided not to support Logitech, especially when I already have the more than good G25.
I'm saving up some money for a gaming PC and luckily It'll all be ready by July (if the upcoming job doesn't require me to travel abroad).

It may become a Youtube video for all I know

I'll remember the health benefits. The Omega 3 will help me drive the rambunctious Yellowbird even better :D

I've been touching DC here and there. Haven't really been knocking down races since I got the season pass because of exams and study breaks were mostly dedicated to Enthusia.

I have to say this though: Driveclub with a good pair of Headhones is absolutely mental! I'm using a pair of Status Audio HD One Headphones by the way. The Ferrari F40 exhaust burble (The Burble makes me smile), turbo spool, turbo blowoff and overall sound is bliss to my ears through headphones. On a decent speaker system it sounds good BUT HEADPHONES THOUGH.... Let me not forget the Jaguar XKR-S Also, oh that Supercharger and V8.... Can't get enough of those cars I tell you.
