The EU store already has this month DLC, like I mentioned before, the Ferrari LaFerrari can be bought on PS Store but it costs 3,60 Euros (even if you have the season pass).

Or you can unlock it. I'd say the option is probably there for those who don't get so much time to game anymore but-must-absolutely-have-that-car-now - otherwise, for those who don't mind waiting, it'll still be there when they have done the mileage.

Yep, it was already there at midnight BST. I only tried the Rimac though, great car to drive.

Is it only me or is the auto transmission in the game faster than the manual? (I know how and when to shift or downshift).
I was having a hard time trying to get three stars on two races included in the pacesetter tour, the Renault Clio one and the Renault twinrun one. Only when I switched to auto I was able to do the event on the first two tries.

It is very very close, sometimes even quicker as you say. I have watched the replay and it looks like on corners the auto jumps straight from 5th gear to 2/3rd ready but on manual you would have to downshift. Even on tight corners the auto works well and is quick to change and is smooth. I now use manual (time trial) and auto when racing but change manually if I want to take on a corner or car as it lets you use both if in auto mode. (best of both worlds) 👍
 
The Turbo tour doesn't work.

Downloaded all the packs when I woke up this morning. Had a good drool over the cars then had a look at the Evo tour and it's events. Then went into the Turbo tour and every event had a PSN basket icon next to it saying I needed to purchase it from the PS Store.

Seems the complete opposite to what happened with the Apex tour pack.

Quite a few people have reported the same over on FB so I imagine some kind of glitch - no reply from Evolution yet, but it's early in the day yet.

The Jaguar XKRS might just be the best sounding car in the game :eek::drool:

The Ferrari F40 does not appear to have the turbo lag replicated though...

And the Rimac Automobile Concept is yet another crappy electric car...

I just intended to share the news. My goal is still to unlock it, I'm halfway level 4 now.

It's fixed now, just buy it again from PS Store.
 
I have 1.5 gigs to last me 2 days, and i can't download the new update and try things out... :grumpy: I wanna try out that F40! So much better looking than the F50!
 
I checked the ps store so I could download the turbocharged dlc and as I expected, no dlc. So, it look like I have to wait 3-4 hours again.
 
You have probably tried this but I had to actually go into the DC game (main menu-store-purchase) then click on the tour and it should take you straight to the basket again, then click down to free (season pass)..This works here (UK) so it could be US store still down if you had tried this...👍
 
I always try that but when I checked the ps store right now, the dlc was released. I tried all of the cars in this pack and I like all of the cars in this dlc. I didn't like the rimac concept car though. This car have a lot of understeer and it locks up when you brake hard. The acceleration is amazing.

My Verdict on the new update:

The F40 is a wild horse to tame (get it? No? Ok....) ,
It seems Evo haven't really modeled in the Turbo Lag though, which would have been pretty interesting. I do like how Evo has textured the orange peel paint effect of the car, good attention to detail there.

The Camaro and XKR-S have some of the best vehicle sounds ever. The supercharger whine and V8 brutality were captured beautifully for both :drool:👍

The Golf and Charger were cool.

The Rimac is a beast :eek: that acceleration!
 
Just a quick question , just got my PS4 and DC and have reading alot of theards here for a long time and know DC has great sounding engines but i just can seem to hear it in game

What are your sound settings ? I have tried outside view sound ,music off, road noise at -1db or something like that ,basicly everthing on low execpt engine but it is still low

It just slid anywhere without real control for me. I regularily 4-wheel drifted off the track on exit. Maybe its the lack of a throttle sound that throws me off and why I dont get along with it, dunno.
 
The challenge servers are horrible today. I had to re beat a challenge twice because the times I set did not register (the time that stick was the fastest luckily)
