I actually had some fun today grinding to get the LaFerrari 👍

Cowboy Bebop OST fast jazz along with some circuit lapping with time & weather change and the booming exhausts of the various Ferraris were some tasty drive sessions indeed.

My goodness the Enzo sticks to the road like dog turd on a shovel :drool:! Grip for days, especially on high speed corners
 
66km to go after a few 25 lap races with the 458 Speciale and some drifting events with the 599 GTO, which in-turn brought me my final accolade and the platinum trophy! I think I'm more excited to drive the LaFerrari than getting the platinum though...

Lots of people complained that the interior sound was too quite so Evolution put the option in to have the exterior engine sounds and any other sounds outside the car INSIDE the car. Basically your ears are in third person view and you're in first. Personally find it quite disorientating! :lol:

Most racing games do this. I prefer the exhaust sound outside but have the engine sound at is muffled inside of the car. The cars in this game would sound more realistic this way.
 
Just played the update and noticed a lot right away (I never really look at DC's patch notes or anything):

Revamped Menu screen
Option to use exterior sound samples in interior (Makes it sound louder when in cockpit view)
Make all AI use factory paint (Not sure if in previous patch before or not)
Ferrari LaFerrari as Ferrari Accolade LVL 5 reward

Haven't really noticed much else apart from this.
 
Time to rack up the miles in my 430. Only 60 miles (I think) til Level 2 in the Owners club (I have A LOT of driving to do!) Hit Level 1 last night.

@catamount39 Joined your club and had a blast driving the Zonda R last night. Drove it in the rain at Chile and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, was even able to use full throttle through the corners and not spin at heavy precipitation.

I think it's likely that we'll get the PS+ version soon with all these major server upgrades. I think Evo has neared stability with the online

Subaru and Evo would be good additions to the Sports class and I think PS+ Ver. is only worth it for those who don't want to pay to play DC.

I tend to agree, but there are still people on Reddit who are asking right now what the game is like, so I suppose for those who don't know what Google is, the PS+ version will have its merits...plus seeing is believing with this game; it may well sway a few more once they've tried it.

It only did for the time it was in the UK charts due to the bundling. Racing games really aren't as big over here as they used to be unless its an established franchise, as far as territories go, PAL is pretty much as casual as it gets. Battlefield, FIFA, AssCreed, CoD etc all dominate.
 
@Classic Horizon keeps charting and charting highly (I wonder if it is because they don't count digital sales) but still this game deserves way more sales.
 
Polygon "updates" their DC review to a 7.5 (it was a 5) to reflect the game's current state, the whole updating review issue aside, the laughable thing is that score is what they gave DC originally (it went 7.5 > 5 > 7.5), so the weather patch, all the new content, photomode , replay ,etc ) count for jack 🤬

I so want to unlock the LaFerrari but the best ferrari I have is the 430 Scud which isn't that fun. Gonna just wait til I unlock the 458.
 
I've been away from DC, because MKX has taken all my gaming time since its launch. But, last night I had a sweet 10laps race at the black hills v2 driving a ferrari 430 and then I completed my requirements to get the LaFerrari. I'll give this lady in red a special time tonight. lol
