After further tests I will have to agree with @Delicious...the wet parts of the track outside the racing line really throw the GT-R outside it's comfort zone.
Yup. I did a more thorough test too yesterday, and you are right, dry it's fast and stable, wet it starts to lose ground.

I couldn't understand why I lost on Lake Shoji a few days ago using the GT-R, especially after shooting off the line and leaving the rest well behind. It started raining in lap two of four and by the end of three another player had overtaken me, and whilst we traded first place a few times, I just couldn't catch him - a bit like in that vid @torque99 posted.

I still think it's a great car though ;)

The Season Pass description says that it includes DLCs till July so, does it mean that there will be no more DLC or are the future ones just not included?

I think it was pretty much confirmed on FB or Twitter that there will be more cars after July Season pass ends but no details on a new Season pass or any new Tracks has been released yet as far as I am aware. On pre order of the original game back in Sep/Oct last year they released a wheel style chart of what is to come so I'm guessing something like that may come out in July/Early Aug? (hoping so anyway :D:bowdown:) 👍

Why on earth did they give the new Z06 such terrible stats compared to other cars in its class? The acceleration should be on par with the top 5-10% of the super class.

I haven't driven it in the rain. I driven in the dry and it feels like muscle car with comfort softs. It's too big for me.

Do you guys notice that the GT-R's speedo is falsely reading MPH as KPH speeds? At first, I thought it was a bit too optimistic. Or was this intended?

The GT-R is a bit OP to the rest of the Performance class, and I wonder how would it fare in Super.

This month's DLC's are awesome, btw. Corvette is a handful but God, that noise. And its nice to see a good Sports class car with the 370Z. (I still hope of finally hearing DC's take on the LFA's V10)

I agree, but I been doing some testing and the RUF RGT 8 still the fastest in the Performance Class followed by the Ferrari FF and then the NISSAN GT-R ( FF vs GTR is a close one)

Great vid man. Both are quite closer than I thought. Yeah FF and RGT8 are quite OP in my experience, with enough skills, it can blow off all Performance cars easily, leaving dust at their trails.

True, but I'm sure a skilled driver can give those two a hard time with the GT-R

Yes, I noticed it right away... but I don't think something this small can (or will) be corrected by Evo. So I just get along with it.

I see they're putting drift face-offs in races again. I thought we had seen the end of that. I enjoy the stand alone drifting but this just bugs the hell out of me. 👎

Other than that, I'm quite enjoying the new tours and cars. The 370Z is a blast to drive.

So, to send off the first season pass what does everyone think we will get? Wouldn't be surprised if we got an early 2000s Skyline in the pack since Evo appear to be in bed with Nissan. However, a Toyota GT86 would probably be my most requested car. 👍

I can imagine an LFA being in there, simply because it has been requested so much. Though, it seems more likely that we'll get the Nismo GT-R in there. Perhaps we'll see the 488 GTB too, I really don't no what to expect as far as European cars go.

Either way, I think I'll be happy with what we get as I have enjoyed all but a few cars in the game so far.

I think it's possible we'll get the Juke Nismo RS and the Juke-R 2.0.

Classic cars maybe? Toyota 2000-GT, Detomaso Pantera, Countach, Bugatti EB110, Jaguar XJ220 to name a few. The last are not really that old, but eh, its a modern classic.

Bugatti and Jag would be more likely as their from a similar period to the F50, F1 and Diablo. The Pantera and 2000GT are way too old to be competitive unless they were put in the low-tier classes.

Maybe they should add new classes that have similar power to the Hatch and Sports classes, but for classic cars. Looking at their track record, the only classic cars they have right now are the F1 LM, F40/F50, and the Diablo. A low tier classic car class can open up to a lot of possibilities. The ol' Urraco, Dino, 2000 GT-R, Esprit are some suggestions.

Also DC, it's about time to amp up the current low tier cars list. The new Miata, GT-86, and maybe an old MR2 GT would be nice additions.

...The new Miata...
They're all called MX-5s now ;) Though I'd definitely like to see one in DC (I never thought I see myself writing that, not after those interminable enduros on Tsukuba in GTs 4/5/6...)

As for the rest of the pack, I have absolutely no clue other than there will be a Japanese Super (or higher) class contender. Like Cap'n Jack says though, I doubt I'll be disappointed whatever way it goes.

2015 Nismo GTR
2015 Caddilac ATS-V
2013 LFA
2016 S65 Coupe AMG
2002 Nissan GTR R34

Free Car 2016 Toroidion 1MW ( Ugly as **** but 1300HP electric)

Not a chance but It would be cool and realistic.

I want Driveclub to have a classic sport, performance and super class because it would enable Evolution Studios to implement cars from 1980 and earlier thus creating a fair competition. If only they had a race class so I could enjoy some of the most legendary racecars in the highest quality...

@Classic that challenge you sent using the marussia b2 is awful. Its brakes are crap, you have to find a brake point then start braking 10 meters before that just to avoid going into the barrier. That little slalom after the first sector gets me every time. Nearly beat it less than .1 off the time.

That's why I chose it! I was tanked up on Jack Daniels' when I set the time so I didnt realize how bad the handling was.
