I think I will get it then. I plan on exchanging WWE 2k15 for it. I will have to save some money to afford Season Pass, I don't even have PS Plus for now (If I had then I could test the game, they should put it as a demo instead). :) Thank you for help.

You could get a free 14 day trial if you're console is new.

Can't quite put my finger on it but not finding much enjoyment in this car pack. :(
Really? I'm surprised that you don't like the GTR or 370Z - I'm rediscovering the fun factor, especially as none of them are hyper :) take that GTR up Hurrunagne...immediately!

Thank god I'm not the only one. I was surprised that the Z06 Corvette is only used in one event and even then you aren't forced to use it.
Make your own races in Single Event - problem solved. I will say that I've only driven it twice all week, as my preference tends toward other cars, especially the Challenger.

I am starting to love how fast of an acclerator that 370z is, insane speed!

Challenger is a nice car! Love it and the New RPM DLC

The try the GTR...I implore you! That one rockets off the line, as it should.

GT-R is a beast!
I was wondering if its in the wrong class! (Performace)

Not trying to Spam or get anything out of this, but I decided to put these two against each other (Since we can't do a 1 vs 1 match :ouch:)

I enjoyed that vid, thank you - great idea and it obviously took a fair amount of work 👍

Personally I think the GT-R is classed appropriately. It's one heavy beast and despite having a damn impressive 0-60 time, suffers under cornering. Considering how many corners there are on most tracks, I think the folks at Evolution chose well. It would of course be a different story if the tracks were built in another way or if tuning were allowed.

As a street car though, I think performance is a good spot for it.

Is this game worth getting? There are mixed opinions, I have Project Cars but it would be nice to have arcade game for fun.

Project cars is literally a simualtor compare to driveclub. In driveclub, you can play it and drive every car to the max while in project cars, you have to relearn everything before you get good at the game. If you use a wheel, I recommend playing driveclub because the force feedback in pcars is messed up.

I'm playing on DS4. I love Project Cars, don't get me wrong but I would like some fast, fun game to relax, PC is realistic but really difficult. Driveclub propably isn't easy game either but you don't have to worry about losing control while driving. ;) I know, I'm bad at PC but still love it, comparing those isn't a good idea because only thing they have in common is that they have cars in it.

You'll have a lot of fun with DC then.

Is there a notable change in the MY15 GT-R that makes it handle much worse than previous models Nissan have made or have Evo decided to completely ruin the car? The thing has no grip as opposed to any other representation of the GT-R I've used in other games.

I understand that Driveclub isn't aiming for realism of course but most of the cars in the game keep each one's unique characteristics at the heart of the handling, almost like a caricature. It doesn't seem to be there in the MY15 GT-R.:indiff:

I haven't tried it much but it's ironic that this car doesn't handle well in Driveclub when you consider the amount of grip all the other cars have in game.

I was expecting it to be a leaderboard demon but its an absolute barge. :(

Sorry man, can't agree with you there. I do appreciate how it might seem jinxed, but in view of the class, it does very well. I will say, in my defence, that I have never driven one in real life.

I don't know, but I really think the GT-R is a fine car.

I will see if I can tie together a decent lap in it soon, try and change my mind. :)

Also, FINALLY RE-MAXXED MY STAR COUNT.

I have to agree with you I have found it very 'twitchy' mainly on wet roads but in true Drive Club form (see video link below) the Gtr is not the best handling in the wet even with the awd. The weight and all that power!!..It is a beast to drive in the dry and straight line though and I do prefer the smaller cars and actually the 370z handles how I like a car to handle.

I found this old video from autocar showing the little a1 quattro keeping up with the gtr! (in the wet ;))

👍

Before I read your post I thought that was a Driveclub gameplay video. :D

Interesting vid and a nice find 👍

I haven't driven the GT-R IRL (yet) but I remember it being a little particular to handle in both Gt and Forza. As long as you followed the correct line the car had tons of grip but if you did one mistake you either lost the back or went straight into a wall because of the gigantic understeer. There seems to be a similar behaviour in DC.

@torque99 you got credited for some of your pictures over on NeoGaf - at least, I think it's you.

Good spot & Thanks @MeanElf Yep they are my pics but from a while ago-He must have got them from my flickr library. That brightness is from the filter exposure being high in photomode but I agree with him that on replay or first pause for a pic they are not that bright. I like my bright saturated pics so a contrast adjustment in the race settings would come in handy.👍
