Hi! I know we can't disable traction control but in the future could it be possible?
Instead of focusing on graphics and dlc, Evo studios should work on options for gameplay in my opinion
I would like to enjoy this beautiful game but gameplay prevents me each time I try.
What aspects of the gameplay are giving you problems? I doubt highly that they'll do anything with tuning or disabling the mix of ABS et cetera that they have, as that would involve a whole new rework of the physics model - not a simple task this late in the day.

Handling tweaks have been implemented in the past and are still going to happen in future.

The Rimac and Vuhl are getting handling updates so I guess changing physics isn't completely impossible.

Driveclub is a priori an arcade game, so let me drift!!!!! You push the throttle in order to keep the drift and nothing happens. And in my opinion; this is just one of the problems about gameplay.

It's because the cars still have TCS on and you can't turn it off. Just put look when you drive any BMWs and slide them, you can see the TC icon on the instrument panel.

Hi, any solution to fix the ghosts in challenge mode? Is it because of their servers are still ***** or there is some magic I can do? :D
What problem is it? I see ghosts on all TTs and challenge.

I don't think it's a simple as saying the game is 'arcade'. The physics model goes far deeper than any arcade game I've ever played, which I remember them at the time saying involved them having to work out a combination of 'ABS/TCS on' parameters built into the handling model.

That's the way they designed it, and that's what I meant earlier by saying it probably isn't likely they'll change it.

That notwithstanding, drifting is by far the most popular challenge mode and it has, like I said, already been tweaked at least twice so far.

Maybe they fixed it already I havent checked yet but I had this problem for 2 days now and I hear it from others too. I only had ghosts in TT but not in the challenge I was participiating.

Did you try enabling/disabling ghosts by pressing left on the D-pad? If you accidentally left it off, it will stay that way I think.

Also, I think its fair to call Driveclub an arcade-y simulation game. Its not a simulation (ala iRacing), neither is it an full arcade game (Burnout). It falls between NFS and Gran Turismo physics just nicely.

The only thing that would surprise "me" is a new location or at the very least a new track for each location. They mentioned some sort of weather update is coming too, not sure if its the realistic randomization of weather though.

A US location say in the Rocky Mountains would be neat.

I finally caught back up with the new events and returned to 100% completion. It is such a cracking game and I am delighted there is plenty of content still to come.

It says 1035/1035 right up there, so you definitely missed one. :P

Didn't Honda's twitter page posted something about Driveclub a while ago? I'm guessing that is the free car.
Also, a surprise would be a new country. Other than that it would be good and welcomed, but underwhelming. :)

I am doing the Atomic Theory event now with the Ariel Atom and I simply can not drive that car. Any hints to keep it from spinning out?

I did not know that. You wouldn't know what was said or have a link would you? The new NSX could be en route.

Short-shifting is the most important thing to remember. Also, only use full throttle when in a straight line otherwise you'll find yourself facing the wrong way very quickly. You want to coast through the chicanes or apply only the bare minimum power too.

I love the idea of the Aerial Atom V8 but to drive it is a horrible experience.

@Scuderia Paul, I think I was fooled by an older post which was resurfaced in mid July when we speculated on the new cars for the last pack:

finally I find this post, that's why I think the fwd car is the Civic

the FXXK is practically confirmed, and the GT-R NISMO was anticipated by a tweet

Original post:

interesting, might be a confirmation that Honda (civic Type R,NSX?)is coming to DC.

I'm not sure if grinding is going to be needed, unless it's XP you need @AudiMan2011 as the levels above 60 are only attainable now via completing the special elite challenges. I just got through to level 64 and am working on the level 65 one in anticipation of the update...not been easy going for me, I can tell you.

I think the level 66 car is probably going to be something very overpowered like a Shelby supercar aero because that is a lot of levels for a car.
