Hello !

It may be a stupid question but is it normal not to feel anything from the road (asperity of the road) and the vibrators I only feel them too little.
Nevertheless the ffb works as it should.
I use a fanatec 2.5 .
And the Hori mini controller
On ps5.

Maybe it's normal since the controller is simulated ?

Thank you in advance .

Yes that's normal. Gran Turismos have a lack of feedback especially for road detail. That's why you'll hear the term "driving on glass" when people refer to GT's FFB.

Oh it's not because of the drive hub ?
It's really like this for everyone ???
I mean even without the drive hub, if yes it's disappointing i don't feel much.

There are so many cars to test on the nordschleife ...
Especially since I like driving for driving's, not necessarily racing cars.

Thanks for your respond.

Hey guys, does some on here use podium dd1 (non ps version) on ps5, gt7 with the Drive Hub? Will love to hear some opinions. Thanks in advance

I used this for my old Logitec DFGT in GT Sport. I was surprised how well it worked. My wheel was still in great condition so I didn't want to buy a new one yet or drop another 350 bucks.

I still have mine and won't be needing it as I have a g29 now so if anyone wants to buy my Drive Hub just make me an offer. I haven't touched it in years so I don't care much about price and would like someone else to be able to enjoy driving.

Where are the changelogs to these beta updates at? Just tried the newest one and now my Heusinkveld Sprints don't work.

Anybody else experiencing this? Is it the GT7 update that did this? I can use my throttle and clutch but as soon as I hit the brake pedal, looses connect and nothing works anymore. Downgraded to firmware 209a and no luck. This firmware worked before.

Edit: After restarting the console twice and performing some different turn on and plug in rituals, it finally is working right. I've never had to jump through this many hoops to get it to work right before. I'll just stay on 209a until someone says what they are changing in these firmware updates I guess.

Anyone know how well the DH performs with the new Logitech G Pro on PS3 with GT6?

I'm guessing you'd have to run the G Pro in "Compatibility Mode" for starters. How much detail is lost I wonder?

Hi everyone,

I have thrustmaster tmx ffb (xbox one) with drivehub and ps4 controller with usb cable, everything works really good. Last update of drive hub. The problem I have is in standing starts, I don’t know why but I throttle and my car doesn’t move, I can throttle, brake, change shifts, everything works propertly but the car doesn’t move. I pressume that the handbrake is on, because I can see the white logo on the right on abs, but can’t switch it off.

Thank you for this amazing comunity!!

EDIT 2/18/23: the Hori Commander does not work with DH.

Hi all. Will this Hori controller work or must be the PS4 one?

Hi all. Please someone help me setting up my equipment. I have the following gear:
  1. Fanatec CSW V2.5 wheelbase
  2. Fanatec Podium Wheel Rim Porsche 911 GT3 Cup
  3. Fanatec ClubSport Universal Hub V2 for Xbox
  4. Fanatec Podium Button Module Endurance
  5. Fanatec CS V1 Pedals
  6. TH8 shifter
  7. Drivehub
  8. HORI PlayStation 5 Fighting Commander controller
  9. PS5
  10. Xbox X
I understand that the Hori controller is necessary for the Drivehub to function properly, but – without it – shouldn't the PS5 recognize any connected devices via Drivehub at all or it should work but will time out in 10 minutes? Yesterday I connected everything to see if the PS5 will detect the wheel without Hori, but nothing was detected. I am using the Porsche wheel with CS Xbox hub. I updated the Drivehub firmware to the latest out of the box, it shows 0 on the display and all connected ports lit green.

I hope this doesn't sound illogical. After spending hours-and-hours, I am still struggling to find clear instructions on what should I do to make everything listed above work properly with both: PS5 and Xbox X.

What is the exact procedure of enabling the Drivehub with PS5 using my wheelbase, rim, hub, shifter and pedals? All components are correctly connected.

Also, do I still need Drivehub if the CSW V2.5 along with the CS Universal Xbox hub are connected to Xbox X, or it is needed for PS5 only as the wheel itself is Xbox licensed?

I don't know which firmware the CSW has. I needed that exact wheelbase to fit on my custom built rig and bought it used two days ago and don't have a Windows or Intel based Mac at this point to check or update the firmware. The wheel shows 689 then 22 on the startup display, but not sure if that's the firmware version.

I bought the HORI PlayStation 5 Fighting Commander controller as the mini was out of stock, it's arriving tomorrow. I also have the mini on order just in a case.

I used a DH for several years for my CSW V2 to get PS4 compatability. Been a while as I use a DD Pro now. First DH manual is here DriveHub Manual

Basic setup for PS - wheel/base in PC mode - red on cswV2, pedals attached to wheelbase. DH has 4 ports - console to PS, controller to Hori, Wheel/controller to CSW, accesory to TH8. I used hori mini. This should then work with PS.

DH has two basic modes - emuate Fanatec CSL elite, or Logi g29. Two buttons on wheel pressed together switch modes. DH displays F or L or 0 or 1 depending on Fw. Sorry don’t recall which buttons but manual has that. A button on the wheel will map to the PS button, press to tell the PS to use the controller - again not sure which button on your wheel, but the Fanatec docs show which buttons map to what PS functions when using the wheel on a PS compatable base - the DH uses this mapping

You should use Fanatec CSL mode as FFB is better but the logi mode will work - game should report on what wheel it see most games

Hope this gets you started. Sorry no experience with XB and DH, but I think there is a pass thru feature on DH if wheel is in XB mode?

Hi!
I recently bought a used DD1 and am trying to make it work with the ps5 and gt7

1. dd1 (non ps)
2. formula wheel 2.5 (ps ready) + APM
3. CSP v3
4. drivehub
5.ps5

I set the dd1 to pc comp (cs2.5) Mode and it is recognised by the Drivehub but then it just shows an E. and nothing is recognised by the ps5.

So before I buy another thing that does not work? Can my setup as described work? Or do I need just the hori controller to make it work?

Thank you!!

Did the hori solve your issue?

I have de Thrustmaster TGTII wheel an Csl elite pedals working with drive hub on PS4, I will have a Ps5 in a few days…will it work or what must I do to make it work?…I dont know the firmware version of my drive hub…

DH will work the same on PS5 except for the attached controller can’t be the sony ds - you need a 3rd party one, ideally the hori wired mini - others may work as well. Sony controller disconnects after 10 s or so

Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong, but if the TGT-II is PS5 compatible and you're just using the Drivehub to use the CSL pedals, then I don't think you will need a controller at all.
The controller was needed to authenticate the devices connected to Drivehub that are normally not compatible with the console. On PS4, you could use the PS4 controller, but on PS5 you will need a Hori controller for the same thing.

Thanks for trying helping me..with the PS4 I dont need to connect the controller by wire or bluetooth, DH works without it, I start the console by pushing the tactile button and all starts well..

Having tried to get more info, I saw some youtube videos..I understand now that the Hori controller connected on drive hub is mandatory for the wheel to work…at least more than 8,10 minutes only…
I have seen also that on Hori only buttons are working, not the joystick then I stlll don t know how I could use a joystick necessary for some actions by exemple to move stickers on styles or even see the details of a race in sport mode…

HI everyone, i'm desperate, could someone please help me. I know have the HORI Fighting Commander Octa Controller (PS5/PS4).

so now i have setup the DD1 in PC Mode, the drivehub (2.09) shows "DD1" and then "O". But wheel starts in "L" mode and the share/option button hold does not help to switch to "F" Mode.
Additionally basically it's like the wheel is still not recognized AT ALL by the PS5. Nothing works, no ps button, nor anything. it's like the wheel does not exist.

would really appreciate some help there. Everywhere i read it looks like people don't have the initial problem i have which is that the wheel/base is not recognized by the PS.

thank you

I try also to help the others😄..I saw that you need for the drive hub the firmware in beta version which is probably the 2.08 beta9 and for that before you download the firmware you must click on the final version they propose then 2.09 to deselect it and then you can scroll and choose the 2.08 beta 9.

Thx i just tried, so now drivehub does not recognize the wheel unless i put it in PC COMP (cs2.5), but still no reaction from the PS on any command and still no impact from pressing share/options... :(

also general question, should the hori controller work through the drivehub? because it does not

Sorry it didn’t solved your problem…I read and saw on youtube that when connected to drive hub the hori controller buttons work but not the joystick..
