I’m on a roll today

Next up is Ukyo Katayama! Again clean and unbranded (excluding the arai logo). It’s a bit of a mix between the 1995 and 1996 version as while looking for references there were various versions with different shades of blue and red, and with and without the silver lining... so I mixed them a bit

The red one still needs some dragons at the bottom and the Papa Smurf again, but I've got to find the artwork first, and then replicate it. Then I need to work out how I can apply them without spilling into the metallic blue. Would be easy if I used a blue decal, but I want to keep the metallic.

Another day, another Jenson button helmet for you... This one was pretty quick to colour from my template, it was just the decals that I had to make that took so long - the Sensodyne on the chin and the motto in the halo were a pain for finding the right fonts etc. Again, just the dragon patterns missing, but not sure I'll ever get those in the game tbh, it's hard to find a good reference.

Made the graphics I needed now to completely bring these JB helmets up to scratch. The first one of the finished articles is out now - the dragon and Smurf logos have been drawn in Corel especially for these helmets, and this is the first upload since the blurry decals issue has been patched, so I'm very pleased with the result.

This one is from the Japanese Grand Prix of 2014 in which Jenson finished in fourth place.
