Driving force GT: how to make it better

I address this thread to the enthusiasts of the low budget wheel from logitech. What can be done to make it better? Any trick, tweak, swap you did?
Did anyone put a sponge below the brake pedal to try and make it stiffer? How did you do it? How could you find the right sponge with the exact size? And, does this trick work?
This last trick, and wathever else you experienced which can be done to improve the dfgt experience are welcome on this thread.

In increased the tension in the larger of the two brake springs so increase the brake resistance.

i like mine way it is, and dfgt is not budget at 139 avg. if u want budget buy madkatz.lol.
