Well I'm chasing a wheel at the moment and I'll be using socks but no worry about shoes. I won't bother with gloves...although maybe when drifitng might use something basic to help with wheel work etc. Helmet...lol!! Nah I'll pass, but I have seen someone on youtube using a Helmet lol, man I laughed thought it was so COOL!:D...someone had the guts to actually do that knwoing for sure they would get bagged out for it lol!:lol:That's pretty funny.

I just use socks, but I recently got a pair of Piloti driving shoes. I tried them with my G25, but went back to socks for several reasons.
I think the shoes will be excellent for driving a real car, especially heel-toe (I haven't had a chance to try them yet), but the G25 pedals just aren't suited for driving with shoes. (Maybe if the brake pedal was higher up and farther away from the accelerator and the pedals were top-hinged, with more travel...well, like a real car.)

I use socks when racing for better control, but when practicing heel and toe I use my onitsuka tigers as they are narrow

I'm currently rockin' some old Nike Huarache's with no laces in black leather / blue neoprene (really comfortable) like these

But I am looking into maybe getting a pair of Vibram Five Fingers
