So despite @Sinyster 's efforts to jinx it late in the race by bringing attention to it, 12 hours of racing without a massive lobby collapse - absolutely thrilled to finally have a race that ran the distance.
The results are going to take a bit, but as usual we're aiming to get them out mid-late in the week. Thanks again everyone for showing up and driving the wheels off some cars, great fun racing out there.

Just saying there are some issues with Appendix 4 under the rules, final lap durations. Nürburgring Combined seems to last 5 minutes but Red Bull Ring full lasts 15?

lol yeah I noticed that and I've already repaired it for the next rules update. Even made a joke about it in the stewards chat.
The final lap is meant to be 15 at Nurb N24 and 5 minutes at Red Bull Ring.

well, the plan for next month's race is LM24, if you're interested But here's the fun thing, we're not using the super modern cars ;D

Well, that was definitely one race that could have gone so much better. Connection issues aside, CWM weren't quite firing on all cylinders as expected, but the nature of the Nurb itself really tests the breaking point of drivers. My guys are definitely thinking back and coming to the realisation that events like these are a far cry from the norm.

Just one thing I want to mention, I know the Toyota was godly in the corners, but give the S2000 three straights and its nigh impossible to catch! Kudos to the guys in those cars to get the Honda to bury the corners like a Toyota. Kinda frustrating being 1.2 seconds up in the first half only to lose that and then some on the back half of the course, but the tail end of Nordschleife as always been my kryptonite.

Just out of interest, how to teams get split into P900 and GT? I'm assuming we ask for a class and get given the car, or is everything random or decided by driver rankings?

Just out of interest, how to teams get split into P900 and GT? I'm assuming we ask for a class and get given the car, or is everything random or decided by driver rankings?

The teams will be split according to their overall ranking. Pro teams will be placed in the LMP class, while Am (or Pro/Am) will be in the GTS class. While we do have more middle ground teams than a definite split, we'll have to go according to previous results as well as overall driver skills. Teams such as Clockwork Motorsports will be placed in the LMP field.

As for which cars will be allocated, we will be giving them out at random to each team, to avoid bias.
