The second race went off without a hitch, in fact it was perfect. I personally don't think we need to change the entire way of starting the race just because one person didn't follow the rules lol.

If you all listened closely before the start (petrols mic is very soft). He did ask if he could dictate the speed and also if he could go when he wanted to. The reply was, its up to you, you are the pole sitter.
Lets just stick to the OP and Homes must just say when its ok to go on what ever track we are racing.

For the Formation lap:
F1 uses a Pit-lane-line ruling (or something like that). Leader has to keep the Field together and the others have to keep up.
But there is a Line (almost at every Track at the beginning of the Pitlane) where the others can overtake the leader.
=> If the leader doesn´t watchout he´ll be passed
We could say that the last Corner or the first pitsign (sign or first Pitlane markings on the Track or just directly after the Corner) could be that spot.
And for the first 2 sectors we could announce a speed limit 1(00mph max or 120mph max).
And the 3rd one is the sector where the leader decides when the race-pace starts.

Hi Guys. Reading here I see I caused quite a few people to be unhappy with the start of the first race. Normally I am the guy at the back following or getting lapped. I did not know about the 75% pace for the formation lap so I did ask at least 3 times before the start on what was required and Homes said I can set the pace. When we started I drove slowly through the first 2 corners until I heard a couple of the guys at the back say that everybody was in position. There is only 5 corners on the lap so after 2 corners I was already half way through the lap. I increased pace but only into the last corner did I put the hammer down. So very sorry to the unhappy guys. If the committee feel that I broke the rules or the it was not in the spirit of the thing then I would rather loose the points than have the guys unhappy with me. Just having a bit of fun on a Sunday night. Looking forward to the next race. See you all there.

We're all boys at heart and we like throwing our toys out the cot sometimes....... it's quite entertaining actually and it makes the racing more interesting. I'm sure next week we'll find something else to bitch and moan about Petrol, so don't take it personally, it's all meant in good spirit too lol.

You won fair and square...... in fact you drilled us all and I don't think that anyone had the pace to change that. It was just the midfield that was a little strung out and the guys starting at the back lost out big time, but it won't happen again

@petrol - Don't worry, maybe it needed to happen to make us all realise how incapable we are of driving in a neat, compact line. Im sure it wont happen again.
Penalty from last week:
Will asked the stewards to investigate a few incidents involving Ally in the first few laps of race 2 last week. After investigating the replays we all agree that:
- There was lots of lag from both of you for the first few laps.
- There was lots of bumping and nudging from quite a few drivers in the 1st few laps.
- But the incident that does warrant serious investigation is:
> coming into the tunnel on lap 6 where you bumped Will into the wall and then overtook him on the inside after he lost speed in the wall.
Yes - there are a few occasions where will bumped ally too but they, in our view, did not effect Ally's position or disadvantage you in an unfair way.
We have decided on a 10 point penalty for the incident on lap 6 (into the tunnel). Ally bumped Will pushing him wide and then drove up the inside bumping him into the wall which caused him to loose many places. There was no attempt to pull out of the move or slow down afterwards to let him back past which might have reduced the penalty.
Please guys, if you have the replay, watch the incident so you can understand what we are looking to stamp out.

Offenses are split into 3 catagories:
1 - Minor - 5 points (ie persistent knocking and generally slowing down another driver without passing him). Bump-drafting is of course OK.
2 - Major - 10 points (ie knocking someone into a barrier or off the track, causing them to loose positions or a material amount of time)
3 - Catasrophic - 30 (ie Completely ruining someones race or blatant diregard for the rules in way which seriously ruins the game for others).
30 penalty points will also earn a ban for 1 race (whole event) and if you reach 50 penalty points in total you will be banned from the rest of the series.
I will update the OP with the above.

Hey BAZZER, You get all the cars from either the online dealership or the used car dealership. Problem is: You usually have to wait for them to appear, so if you don't have one yet you might not get one before 8pm gmt and the game doesn't allow cars over 1 million credits to be gifted so we can't gift them to you either. Doh! I'm not sure if any of the cars are currently in the online dealership???

Level Tickets:

If you want to get the Cars from a Ticket, you should use the retry Trick.
(Save your game with the unopened Ticket on an USB-device;
Use the Ticket => not the car you wish for => reload the Gamesave from the USB-device and repeat)
Because above is faster than trying to get it from the UCD because you have to enter a Track to get 6 "new" cars in the Dealer.

ok thanks, i didn't know the cars changed after a race so i'll loolk into that now.
I've done 10 races now and checked the UCD after each race but i'm still not getting any DTM cars, hopefully if i keep it up i'll get one before 8pm tonight.
Out of interest does anyone know how many used cars there are?

Hallo Sakery, alles gut?
I used to drive with everything off exept ABS on 1, but as u say, its almost impossible for me to do more than 5 laps with SRF off so i turned it on for this competition. In other races i still turn it off...its more fun ;-)

The Calibra is too slow lol. And its 4 wheel drive. We tested it but decided against using it.
