DubstepMusic

People get far too hung up on what category the music should be in with it's BPM and all the rest of it.

Who the hell cares, if you like it, listen to it and enjoy it :)
I'm not hung up on genres , which is why I don't know the difference. I'd like to know before posting a rather massive list of music I've been listening to.

The fact is, I understand that not everyone here is going to like glitch hop, but everyone here listens to dubstep, so I'd like to know what people think.

I've been listening to this on my bus journey yesterday. Nice mix from Mantis. (And no I don't care what genre it is  )

I don't know how well big-room house would lend itself to a dubstep remix. It'd be interesting to see.

My obsession with Vanic right now is kinda bad...

And I just recently started listening to some Melbourne Bounce

No, i'm saying zilch on this page has been dubstep. It's just turning to "this is electronic in some way so it must be dubstep".
Except for the Sorrow song I posted, which was obviously dubstep according to the definition of dubstep: a 138-140 BPM genre of music with syncopated beats.

And I haven't even bothered with the others yet...

The definition of dubstep is so loose, I could get away with posting a symphonic piece because "andante" could go up to 140 BPM, and inevitably will contain syncopation.

I would like to propose changes to this thread... If you like it, and it is somehow relevant to dubstep, you can post it. I don't think it should matter if it's trap (which, by the way, is almost the same thing as dubstep,) reggae, reggae with wubs (what dubstep originally was before the anti-hipster revolution )...

Shouldn't matter. If it's close, it's close.
