When I read about AMD running the new Astra, I jumped for joy!! Such a gorgeous looking machine!!

Get it in GT NOW!!!!! :-P

It shares the same look to the new Astra VXR/OPC just has a little bit of extra width :-)

Or he'll run out of funds after a few rounds .

Also I too thought the new Astra would suit touring cars glad to see someone take it on.

Also I think I know why Andy Neate wasn't offered a drive with Team Hard. If you remember the final round at Brands, Andy caused that crashed with Williamson and TOC - there was a lot of damage on the Honda and I think Gilham was very annoyed, so I think Andy had no other option to run his own team: no one wants him it seems

Probably for the best, mind.

Thank goodness really hope Rob can win soon, he's got the talent but lacking the money

Finally Rob has got proper funding, its about damn time! 👍

Its good to see Will Bratt back as well, there were some flashes of speed last season, especially at the final couple of races at Brands (shame he got caught up in some first lap incidents).

Oh and here's an interview with Shaun Hollamby;

I am a big fan of Rob and gotta say though on paper it looked pretty average his actual performances on the screen or live was very good. It is though only on the whole I think it looks average on paper. Theirs some spots where he does do really well like at Croft where I was able to see his first podium in race 2 (2nd place) and his good performance at Silverstone.

I do think that with a bit of stability for a time Rob and Will, I would love to think, could become a major Independent. I mean for Will to finish 20th with 38pts I think for him that is very good. He does finish ahead of Liam Griffin in a much stronger car and Tony Hughes. Bodes well for the future methinks.

No offence to Hughes and Griffin but they aren't quick drivers, they are more like gentlemen drivers.

Personally I think for the most part Bratt has been a bit disapointing, sorry :indiff:.

He was unlucky to be collected by Collard here:

He wasn't doing too bad that weekend. His debut at Oulton wasn't bad either and he had a decent race 1 at Croft.

Considering the budget of RAR, the lack of testing and Bratt's background, I don't think he did a bad job. It could obviously be much better and I think at the final round at Brands he started to show some pace closer to Rob's.

Lets see what he can do with some testing and a full season.

He was beating Rob in race 1 and 2 at brands, hes got the pace, but as you said lack of money/testing it has an effect on them

Word is that Robb Holland is running Snetterton and Knockhill again with Team HARD and ES Racing are going to turn up with at least 1 NGTC car and an S2000 Vectra with Chris James driving one of them.

James will drive the Vectra if he knows whats good for him :P. Or do we want to see an NGTC take out slower S2000s?

Do any of you fine folk happen to read Racecar Engineering? There was an interesting article about the scrutineers and the checks they do for the BTCC in January's issue

Well then Ardius we have last place for NGTCs and another good car wasted... :P

Yeah sad to hear, RIP. :(

In a bit more positive news we may have yet another new team and car:

Add a SEAT Exeo to the list :D.

Also Welch are doing a series of videos following their season starting with this one at Autosport:

Seat EXEO is pretty much just an older A4 in drag, if they run it as a FWD I'll be curious to see if there's any comparison to Rob's A4 - being RWD.

Probably not I suspect.

According to their Twitter it'll be FWD to save money.
