Wow. WORST! GAMEPLAY! EVER! It's just so pathetic to watch something that is so scripted.
Do people really fall for crap like this? Seriously... It's so generic.

CGI trailers are less scripted than EA's Battlefield gameplay demos :lol:

Anything to liven up golf...
Probably be bugged anyway.
It will be bugged for sure, but as someone who sunk(no pun intended regarding the battleship or putting) 200+ hours into PGA14 this is just a slap in the face, because any chance of a complete Golf game with a vast array of courses in now nadda.

Well folks, that's EA. What did you expect? They even told you that's all they were gonna show so I'm not sure what you guys were expecting.

Overall, EA was all kinds of underwhelming. Nothing but CGI and really, lots of gimmicky things that weren't necessary. The documentaries felt unnecessary as well, did we really need that many reminders that a lot of this stuff was in development?

CGI and renders are fine if that's what they say they are but trying to claim that NHL footage was gameplay was ridiculous. Not that I have any interest in NHL games mind you.

Oh well.

Criterion apparently announced some extreme sports game right?

Who knows what it was. They showed a load of transport modes like quad bikes and choppers, showed a backflip on said quad and that was about it. What the gameplay or genre actually is who knows. It looked like very new work, so don't expect anything for 2/3 years.

EA gets a 3/10, only because of...

FIFA 15 was crap, Hardline though if they nail the servers that has the making of a stunning game.

Well, it was a tech demo even less along than the NextCarGame tech demo from a while back, it's not even worth commenting on. :lol:

@The Stig Farmer
This. Not even worth mentioning at all. In my opinion, Criterion Games shouldn't even bother making another game that may very well get boring and brought back to the store in 1 to 2 days.....

Was it me or was there a lot of clipping into the 'next-gen' grass? It didn't look very impressive.

That's a bit harsh, it seriously did look like the results of about a months work. Not really fair to judge anything based on that.

EA really don't seem to get what next-gen is. I literally laughed when they said Madden had a new camera, who prioritises things like this for a conference?
