I'd like this too. Not a huge deal to me but I'd like the option. Maybe if you have spare time unused in the service you can spend some of it on washing the car. 30 min service and you only repair one thing leaves about 15-20 min left. Let us spend 5 minutes on a wash. 😄Does anyone know why we can't wash our car in service, if we don't have any other bodywork damage? Is it like an engine limitation, design choice?
I agree, let's have a car wash...I'd like this too. Not a huge deal to me but I'd like the option. Hmm... on that thought I think just 2 minutes will be enough time for me 😄I agree, let's have a car wash...

I abandoned Career mode a few days ago and am playing Random Championships instead. This way I get to use all of the cars.I was playing out with the custom championships last night and was getting the previous DLC content in there so it should be fine, I didn't know those were an option but now I do I'm tempted to abandon career mode and just play those.
This would be amazing!WRC 97-99:

Ford Focus WRC '99
WRC 00-02:

Peugeot 206 ('02 livery)
Subaru Impreza WRC2001
Ford Focus RS Rally 2001
SEAT Cordoba ('01 livery)
WRC 03-06:
Citroen Xsara WRC
Peugeot 206 ('03 livery)
Skoda Fabia WRC
WRC 07-11:

I'm doing this also and joined some clubs so I could drive different stages and different cars.I abandoned Career mode a few days ago and am playing Random Championships instead. This way I get to use all of the cars.
16 game years? What the...I tried a custom championship but it's not the same without Keith's acerbic comments on how badly you wrecked your car in the previous stage. I'll try and make a one-round championship as the multi-round ones get you to change your car and class each round anyway but I can't yet see where to adjust the settings to allow you to do this.
I've become kind of attached to the team I've built up over the last sixteen game years in career and the time bonuses and damage discounts are nice but I wish you could see which teammates are available before you visit the talent scout as I wasted a whole week finding out that all the available teammates and engineers were worse than the ones I've already got. It's all a bit random.
Having barely touched the moments since season 2, I may revisit these for a bit of variety.
Have you ever played career? Look at the calendar. Each season takes a year in game time.
If you dearly want to avoid a loss of a week, you can "cloud save" (PS: PS+ required) then turn the wheel of fortune one team scout, and if the results are not worth it, load back from the cloud.I wish you could see which teammates are available before you visit the talent scout as I wasted a whole week finding out that all the available teammates and engineers were worse than the ones I've already got. Thanks. I'm afraid "dearly" would be an appropriate description for me though as a PS5 would cost me around £500 and a gaming PC even more.If you dearly want to avoid a loss of a week, you can "cloud save" (PS: PS+ required) then turn the wheel of fortune one team scout, and if the results are not worth it, load back from the cloud.
I guess on PC it would be possible the same way by creating a copy of the savegame file.
Agreed. After seeing a few people in this thread mention that they run custom championships, i thought i'd try it too as i'd like to use more of the Les Meastros DLC (as well as the new one when it releases) but it lacks authenticity, and just feels a bit empty compared to Career. I'll be delighted when/if they finally add the DLCs to the Career. Surely they could at least add the DLC cars from existing classes to the Career without much bother (i.e. the F2 Xsara, 2017-2021 C3 etc).I tried a custom championship but it's not the same without Keith's acerbic comments on how badly you wrecked your car in the previous stage. First job when I get in from work: get the PS5 on and downloading!Update is live, 15.2gb on PS5.
Oh no I have played it, I was just surprised/impressed you have played so much of it that's all. 😄Have you ever played career? Look at the calendar. Each season takes a year in game time.
Michelin Pilot livery > everything elseGreat liveries in this pack.
Oh I see, apologies for misunderstanding. The game has that "just one more go" quality. My sole driving accessory is a can of tropical IPA which inexplicably magically refills when I get to the bottom. When I start seeing two cars on screen and taking square right turns as 6 lefts it's usually time to call it a day but by then my fridge is half empty. Hic.Oh no I have played it, I was just surprised/impressed you have played so much of it that's all. 😄
I think this'll finally get me to try the Cossie.
Definitely the first thing I will be checking out!
