easiest car to drift

well, I'v been playing around with lots of cars in my garage, trying to figure out which is the easiest car to drift (besides FF)
and I can't seem to come to a conclusion. My ford forus rally car seems to be easy, as well as my skyline.

I was just wondering what cars(with the settings) other people find really easy to drift with.(what car would you recommend to a noobie to drifting?)

FD3S. Sims with drivetrain mods. Flywheel, Carbon shaft thing, racing transmission, that sorta stuff. You can lighten it if you want to, but it drifts perfectly without it. Just stock, with that stuff, sims, and put ASM, and TCS to 0, you should be drifting smooth in a few hours.

S13 1800cc Stock with sims
or R32 GT-R

our drift review will be out soon, as soon as the new site is up... it will give to the inside on the top 10 drift cars.

You complete the series called "Car Dealer" Then do the race "Mazda" Search around you should come across "RX-7"....

:D

Fc3S = older Rx-7....
Fd3S = newer RX7....Easy as that...

Fc3S = Initial D White car
FD3S = Initial D Yellow car

FC3S = look bad ass
FD3S = look femanine but bad ass.

My conception of the FD was like the one Takashi's FD3S. Looks sorta like mine but with a taller wing.

The Savanna FC looks queer.

Is the newer FD3S in GT3?

I find the Honda Civic Type R the easiest to drift in... its a FF, i know..:odd:

Just Tune it, and find a setup here: Click ME

I think the AE86 is incredibly easy to drift, all engine, tranny mods, Stage 3 weight reduction and Sims all around, It was the car i learned to drift with and is my favorite to drift with still...

Phillip, that fact that you're using the Drift Club logo and claiming you're the founder is really bothering me. Get rid of it now, or prove you are who you say you are.

I dont know if it counts really but the easiest ive found is a hybrid mini-CLK55 engine, FR drivetrain, Lightweight F1 chassis. looks funny as hell and is easy as hell to drift with no alterations to the settings.

S15 is also good for drifting you just have to find the perfect setting and hp tires and all taht to make the ultimate drift cars...

ROll

First of all, practice to understand the steering to control the car.
Once you think you understand it, try handbraking suddenly or simply braking suddenly.
Depending on the car, speed and settings, it will have a suprising effect in losing control , sliding towards the wall.
Now is the chance to learn to drift. By handbraking or braking, the weight of the car was tranferred to the rear(which is called a weight tranfer). So, to be able to drift you need to control the weight transfer of the car, their is various ways one can do so but this is the most basic way I know of. During weight transfer, guide your car to the exit of the curve by tilting the wheels toward the exit. Normally this should work. If it doesn't, it must be because the stability manager is too high or traction manager is too high or you were too fast or you had a bad timing in tilting your wheels or you tilted to the max.

The best car for a noob is a car that goes around 120 to 200 hp and has average control. I suggest a Trueno AE86 with medium tires, stability manager to 0 and traction to 1.

this is true when its done incorrectly...however you can drift an ff properly with a little practice and control....

the body of the car can move sideways maintaining control with the front and rear end travelling at the same speed over a straight line or when cornering, the cars nose and tail positions follow the contour of the curve perfectly...with no 'ass drag'....you do need a little tighter control over your handbrake to achieve this but it is possible...

i am making drift vids of the Celica TRD SportsM on SS5 and Trial Mtn....watch out for the proof soon...

FC's are way underhyped, especially in person.

The two model's of the FD that are in the game, are the newest/last body style of the RX7.
