this is true when its done incorrectly...however you can drift an ff properly with a little practice and control....

the body of the car can move sideways maintaining control with the front and rear end travelling at the same speed over a straight line or when cornering, the cars nose and tail positions follow the contour of the curve perfectly...with no 'ass drag'....you do need a little tighter control over your handbrake to achieve this but it is possible...

i am making drift vids of the Celica TRD SportsM on SS5 and Trial Mtn....watch out for the proof soon...

To me That still isnt drifting...

there you go, i'm tired of every1 saying drifting in a FF isn't real drift and just ass drag, it takes skill people!!!

S13 with all drivetrain mods full suspension ASM and TCS set to 0, everything except for turbo( around 270hp ) throw some sims on there and drift away.:D
The best way to learn is to take a stock car with drivetrain and suspension mods with sims.👍

The Audi S4 is the perfect car for drifting. All performance mods, super-soft tire, ASM and TCS off on Trial Mountain. Go and try it and you will see what I am talking about.:sly:

Thanks for the welcome and the compliment. I love Silvias. S15's are sick.

I was on a trip to Mt. Marcy about 6-7 months ago and in the lean-to we were staying in Someone had carved the name "Swervy McLanechange" and that was about the time I started drifting in GT3 so I changed it to Drifty_McDrift.

Oh yeah and Bears ate our food the first night so we had to leave the next day. Never made it to Marcy.:(

Welcome to GTPlanet Drifty_McDrift.

You're 21_93240KA over at 240sxforums.com right? I saw your post with pictures of your GT3 rig with 240sx seats over at 240sxforums and again in the GT3 forum here and I've got to say...that's a cool setup. I bet it'll be even better with the GT4 wheel when the comes out..maybe even dual GT4 wheels.

I used to live in Manhattan, on 92nd and West end Ave. I hope you weren't on that ferry that crashed. :D

No I wasn't on the ferry, thankfully. The pictures in the paper are really bad, that boat got messed up. It's terrible what happened.
That's cool, I'm glad your safe and sound. I miss NY ( especially the delivery services 4:20) :D
do you have AIM?

So true, I started out with a S4 before I went to FF. And a great car to learn FF drag ass on is the FTO . Eventually, I went to the 3000GT/ GTO that I drive now. Shibby
