Elegance Automotive Guild - Remembering TurnLeft.

I'll second two of those. I was going to suggest the C2 Corvette as well but was hesitant for simply being another Vette. I've got a library of information on the various models.
I like the VW too. Herbie anyone :D
As for the Abarth, maybe it's me but every time I look at that car, I'm in danger of loosing my last meal. Ugly as sin :yuck:
 :P Change your perspective when you look at it. :)

You could make the Toyota into a convertible, like in the Bond movie .

Sadly many interesting cars are 'standards'. What about the Prince Skyline?
Making a convertible, that would be a cool option, there's a few cars I would like to scissor the roof off . The Prince was one of the first two choices we had at the beginning, since we wanted to find IRL car we could restore this one is extremely hard to do, there are not many copies out there in the world and the people that have them do not race them or drive them to work, they lock them up in a vault and hold dearly to them, one of the rarest cars I've tried to find pictures for, most of the pictures come from games, GT6 & 5 included. If ever I get a brain storm to find an angle to tune this or that I finally find the IRL car somewhere, it will get high priority.

The Coupe '63? Guess I overlooked it :grumpy:, shadowed in my mind by the C3 '69 , yup that one of my favorites.

The Abarth 1500? because it was very pricy we didn't look at it, haven't look around to see what was available yet, I don't agree with Pete for the looks, I find it looks more like a cartoon character ready for a role in the next "Cars" movie.

The 1200 '66? What would be cool would be to make a Herbie replica, I know they've modified a few of them differently for the movies, but it would fun to find the info to make one of them .

I'm adding here a list my top 5 favorite cars, my number 1 is simple the one I love the most, the rest can all be number 2,
1. Alfa Romeo Guilia TZ2 '65
2. Ford Mustang Mach 1 '71
3. Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible C3 '69
4. Toyota 2000GT '67
5. Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta passo corto '61

I could run the list to 50 cars easily, so many beautiful gems that have been made, and are still being made.

I can help with info on the C3 as well if needed.

Thanks 👍, ... you may get some obligatory enrollment papers at one point , I somehow picture you putting in the transmission, just don't know why :odd: .

@Thorin Cain @TurnLeft

Kübelwagen Typ 82 '44 as the VW Thing

Fiat 500 F '68

I agree with @danbojte on the Abarth 1500 Biposto Bertone B.A.T 1 '52 but would chose the Beetle 1100 Standard (Type-11) '49 over the Volkswagen 1200 '66 shame it's not a premium car

Possible track could be Ascari Race Resort or Twin Ring Motegi

The Kubelwagen??? Really??? WOW, I thought I was one of the few that liked this one, the Schwimmwagen is also pretty cool, it's actually pretty fast for it's power class, what could be fun would be to race it in it's proper environment, somewhere like Eiger Nordwand, too bad they don't have swamps to go through .

Beetle '49? What if the customer ordered a he/she car set, a '49 and a '66 , we let people choose the one they want to race with, ... :mischievous: just thought of something, @danbojte would pick the '66, maybe the '49 would be a bit more special .

You can email me those papers at I'mkeenifyouare@gmail.com :P
Seriously though, happy to help anyway I can ;) 👍

Sorry for the double post but I've just managed to fire up my PS3 (it's being moody with GT6 at the moment ) and have a look for suggestions at what car to do next.
What about the 1957 BMW 507? We could have convertible races versus the C1 & do it with style :sly:
I'll be happy with whatever you guys want to get your hands greasy on :) 👍
As for a venue, no prizes for guessing where I'm thinking :D

Nice ideas. Looks like you guys are going to be busy .

The Fiat 500 looks cool de-bumpered and with the 'hoop' spoiler.

As an aside, have you seen the mad exhaust (can't remember which one :dunce:) on the Toyota 2000?

The Fiat 500. Now that's an Abarth I'd like to see in the game
As for that exhaust on the 2000GT, I want to look away but I can't. It's like the definition of Automotive vulgarity

Can someone clear up a question I've had for quite some time?? This is driving me nuts, and I can't seem to find an answer when I consult the Google. Why are there cars called Abarth, like it's the name of the manufacturer, but then there are Fiat Abarth's as well, like it's the model of a car? :boggled: Then, there is also a car in GT6 called Autobianchi A112 Abarth '79. Does the word "abarth" mean something in Italian that I just don't understand? What makes me even more confused, the manufacturer Abarth is owned by Fiat!   :boggled: :banghead:

:) I see it as something like: Abarth-Fiat, RUF-Porsche, Nismo-Nissan...

Edit:

Carlo Abarth (Wikipedia):
...Abarth then founded the Abarth & C. company with Cisitalia racing driver Guido Scagliarini in Bologna (31 March 1949),[8] using his astrological sign, the scorpion, as the company logo. The same year, Abarth & Co moved to Turin. Financed by Scagliarini's father Armando Scagliarini, the company made racing cars, and became a major supplier of high-performance exhaust pipes, that still are in production as Abarth.

Love the car but that's about it. Everything else hurts my eyes or ears :D
Hmmm... That might be exactly how I should think of Abarth. Like their relationship with Fiat is analogous to Ruf's relationship with Porsche.
As explained by Dan, consider Abarth a Fiat approved tuner of choice :) 👍

Saw a VW Thing on Wheeler Dealers the other day and when you asked for suggestions I thought as its based on the Kubelwagen it could be a fun car to do, I'm sure @Brewguy44 would love finding the colours to paint this.

It's a fun vehicle to beat the AI with on 4WD trials, it devours the corners at Apricot Hill .

Eiger Nordwand K Trial or Chamonix West would be ideal tracks for both these cars

Sorry, didn't read thoroughly :( The Daytona in GT6 is addicting to drive ( had built it long ago, road car, and the competizione ) The road car weight is impossible though at 1600+kg, the heaviest in GT6 is 1400kg, but still works on CH. The grip on SH and SM tire is insanely magical, more grippy than 70's slick imo, the lateral grip at Tsukuba is like a modern supercar on sticky semi slick.

I will put in my vote for the BMW 507. Especially since BMW Classic is restoring Elvis's personal 507. The engine was BMW's first OHV V8, just anemic. Also, its got to be one of the sexiest shapes ever on a car. It was so good that Henrik Fisker used it as an inspiration for the Z8.

Here's My Top 5 Cars I'd like to Give The EAG Treatment Too!!! 👍 (Not in any particular order)

1. Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta passo corto '61
2. Chevy Corvette Coupe (C2) '63
3. BMW 507 '57
4. Plymouth Cuda 440 Six Pack '71
5. It's a Tie: Shelby GT350 '65 or Shelby Cobra 427 '66
