You sure your running the Lexus/BRZ at the right spec? 1.8 is a massive gap

Just purchased both. Both are: 100% stock, Racing Softs, and 1 oil change as soon as I purchased

In fairness to the Lexus, I did lap quite a few more laps in the BRZ

Room number for lounge ? I could come online soon

1472-6118-4216-0539

I'll be on for about another 30minutes if anyone wants to come practice

New practice room about to be up if anyones awake

GT300 LEAGUE MEMBERS

doing about 1 hour of testing all cars to decide what I like best

TIMES

Lexus: 1'57.075

Subaru: 1'55.204

Garaiya: 1'56.423

Garaiya feels like it has the potential to be really fast but I can't seem to take it to the same limits as the BRZ

damn i could barely do a low 55 in the brz wow! mt best is around a low to mid 56, i tested the other cars as well to see the potential and they are more or less half a second from each other

Just to clarify - the BRZ R&D Sport '10 can be used right? It's identical to the 'base model' besides the paint job, same PP and power

EDIT: yep, they are identical - just did a 1:55.046 in the base model

Is it on the OP? 💡

Your right, it is the same but the reason the base models have been chosen is to keep the field looking a uniformed way.

If the cars the base models are based on you would already see them in the field

too bad @Kalem

A perfect lap in the Garaiya a 1:53.9XX is viable but only providing you don't use the first corner rumble strip at turn 1 and exit, and use none of the run off at 7, 8 & exit of 8. fastest so far is 1:54:111 (in the Garaiya only)

That's mad now I am really worried FILO what's going to be average lap time for you as mistakes are costly here in gravel etc

Seems that you guys put down pretty fast laps, I have not driven any laps yet :( So really need to get some time for some practice hopefully this evening and tomorrow. So i could run at least 2min laps :)

Quite impressive lap time Filo 👍 looking forward for this race since the RX7 is as almost as fast as the Garaiya

Also guys take a look at port forwarding guide here:

can improve your stability in online rooms as well ;)

i have a feeling that RX-7 may have the upper hand because MR cars aren't really good with having good rear tire wear :( so it may be a really good race on that last stint :) with a few mistakes probably around a 1:55.5 or 56.2XX

at some point tomorrow i am going to run a 45 lap practice race , to test my strategy and my concentration and try to stop all the stupid mistakes i make, if anyone facies joining in, let me know what sort of times gmt you could make it and i will try to run it with as many as possible

i have an eazycap. i use the composite out to record through it (and this is the reason for my video being so bad quality), i get mpeg2 files that i have to cut, edit and paste togheter. Then i comment them.

After that i compress them to mp4 for youtube uploading.

thanks for that , i may be able to take the extra load of having to do that at every race if i can work out the editing ok ,
but i would not comment them, you have such a wicked comments voice , but i might like to try and do a movie.
did you mean mpeg or mpe2 ? i have a roxie capture card , and the same thing through componant .
