The replay glitch happened to me for the 2nd time. Really no clue what's causing it or how to avoid it...

Anyway anybody up for a training tomorrow let's say 19:00 GMT?

concerning weather last forecast i saw said 25% chanche of train along the day... weather will be set on saturday or sunday

hi jorn, will try to get on for a run most evenings , looks like tyres will all be soft as they last a tank full of fuel 21 laps for me so it's a minimum 2 stopper race all softs I guess unless it's wet . I have noticed there is loads of time to be had by cutting the chicanes , if you find a way to do that without spinning off , and not sure how that can be stewarded as I think Karsten, and maybe gippone are the only ones that can see the replays and they won't have time to watch all drivers laps .
I just popped into a public lobby earlier , none of our guys were there but I watched other races there all the front runners are setting times at 2.04 ish and they were in similar cars to ours pp wise and the corner cutting of the leaders was mad straight lining 2nd chicane and 3rd chicane exit.

yes i know that for sure , i am very much against it , but i was watching a race last night with other people and the front 4 were 4 seconds a lap quicker and when i watched them they almost straight lined the 2nd chicane with all 4 wheels well inside the kerbs and the last chicane they went inside the kerbs with all 4 wheels on the fist part left hander and the last part left hander and i cant understand why the didnt have the penalty setup for the race. as they guys at the back were running fair and were loosing 4 seconds a lap to the guys at the front .

Must guys here have raced in a few series, and I'm pretty sure Karsten has mentioned this or at least the olr (orl?) in the OP.

Whilst racing in open lobbies can be fun they are all pretty much win at all costs so driving/racing fairly does tend to go out the window.

Re the penalty set up I've not tried it in GT6 but most people run without it as it is unreliable, it can give pens for running wide, it can give pens if you hit someone after they span and you had no way of avoiding it do it is generally best to have it off.

Noticed that on second stint RS with tyre bug loses more than 2 secs from first stint so maybe running RM will be not a bad idea in this track... I'm puzzled

On a one off I hit 55.9 but was unable to match that, more consistent at 56-57s

Think this could be a Mazda track through as it's v high speed!

ouch, thats 2am for me , ill have to do some solo practice for the moment, im in some other leagues though so really starting to get the grip of driving cleanly with others

Logicline: One more thing I wanted to write during the day, but forgot about that: the replay glitch is totally random. It does not mean, that karsten's replay will always work and ours never will.

As for penalites: I'm against them, as they're unpredictable and may (and probably would) cause more mess then help anything.

As for corner cutting: If someone does it willingly to shave off time, it'll be visible and people will notice, with or without a replay. A moment ago when we practised, you might have noticed I accidently cut some corners from time to time. Always accidently and it always had the same result: slower time.

Also we can't be 100 % strict on always 4 wheels on track, I noticed you in the rvm going 4 wheels behind the white line in many corner exits. Did it help you to a better time? No it didn't, so I would not see this as a problem.

Not that far. I can't see your room right now... I'd come back for a quick race, but really quick, 5-6 laps, maybe. Or maybe more shorter races to practise approaching the first chicane after start. That might be very tricky...
