I think the Lexus needs a boost in power! :P

In all fairness the Lexus is the slowest in tests I've done in the cars but the BRZ does seem to be struggling so I'm not sure if it's the tracks? Ekke and True are both v good drivers so seeing them struggle is surprising.

I think Skeg is like Alonso in the 2010-2013 Ferrari out performing the car while I'm like Massa just consistently being average! Lol

Oh no, a track Skeng likes , should we be even more worried ?

I'm worried

I was talking about port forwarding with LOGIC to help people increase compatibility with online rooms. This is something I made since GT5 came out to help the game to work better. Basically this is a "nerd" thing... you have to be a little "computer geek" to understand the process here.

In a few words you have to open (comunications) corresponding ports to the IP of the console so the PS3 can "bypass" the firewall in your router and can comunicate correctly with servers.

General concepts about port forwarding: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_forwarding

GT6 manual where you can find the "ports" you need to open in your router to let the game "talk better" with the servers:
http://www.gran-turismo.com/gb/gt6/manual/#!/onlinerace/portfowarding

This is a good site to follow with tons of router models to help people configure port forwarding:
http://portforward.com/english/applications/port_forwarding/PS3_Gran_Turismo_5/

Also a good advice after this is to put the PS3 IP in the DMZ "area" of your network.

I'm sorry if this seems a bit too much technical but it's the only way to be sure to do everything in order to play smoothly 👍

It sounds great, and if it helps i will do it for sure , tonight when i get home, as i sure dont want that disc happening again.
Thanks Gp

yes Gippone and i have already had a go at 6AM this morning, 2.26 looks a good time and he wasnt trying for very long to get that . id like to know how many laps etc, and am so looking forward to your video of yesterdays race , make sure you dont miss me , as i couldnt get a replay , so you are my only hope Karsten

That 0 pct water at the end was some experience , i spun so many times it is really luck how i won that race .

It was a good fight with gp and im glad i was pretty good in the wet .

@CptMadBean when the game came out, my 1st lobby online that happened to me. i kept driving around like that hoping it would stop. 5 laps of brands hatch like that lool. the next race it did it again, i paused the game then when i continued it worked fine. just more stupid bugs :(

Just had a test at silverstone, it happened again.
Had to come off track and back in, it then seemed fine.

tried changing views and pausing the game, nothing :(

I found the lexus more stable than the BRZ, but think lap times in the BRZ I was faster.
Also don't think I played with the brake balance on the lexus, in testing.
Just remember driving the RX7 and my times 2 to 3 secs a lap quicker.

The new lower limits on the RX7 did not change a thing.
will agree the BRZ don't seem to drag well at all.

quite a few times now I had the speed out of the bend, and a car space gap.
Only to see the BRZ drift up to him by the end of a staight.
Any other car would of blasted past, I know that as I've seen so many cars blast past me lol

I do not have too much about you, but i'll do my best

Well my race was a disaster, I got wiped out in turn 2 on the first lap by bake (not sure what you were doing) and then in my haste to make up time I was pushing to hard and made mistakes. After it started raining I thought I'd go early for inters and make up time by doing a stop less but after looking at the replays I should of stayed on RS for another stint. Then when I was ready to pit again I needed RS anyway. By that time I was well out of it and just tried to get to the end.

Hopefully it'll be a dry one at spa, I like the track and hoping for a good finish.

If I may suggest, copy your savegame to back it up, remove and reinstall the game... maybe will work

I just got out of lap1 carnage with a broken right back suspension... That gave me some problems int the first phases of the race. No clue about who stoke me lol

i like the brz but i think its slow on straight
however i did do bad yesterday due to wheel. gonna spend this week practicing
yeah i'll do the interviews. i'll start with priesty and logic. anyone has any ideas PM me please. for my english coursework i must do script writing, so maybe i can give this to my teacher lool

I will as soon as i'll be able to run some laps there.

Can you confirm what time we're racing aswell?

I think Spa has 24hr time so I guess part of it will be in the dark?

Your first time using a wheel? Suzuka in the wet was quite a difficult debut!

2 birds 1 stone then re the interviews, not bad!

yeah, also it was set up wrong. i thought it was just me driving bad but my dad tried it at the end and he said it felt bad too. he spun it more than i did lol

A litte OT:

This reminded me my first online race with GT5 3 years ago.... was January 2011 with some italian friends... and it was Suzuka with GT300!!
I finished third

How would you guys prefer to start at spa? like in dark at 4am and then getting the sun or late eveninig into the night?

Start in daylight , as there will be a lot of crashes otherwise as the cars will be all close on the first laps,
i know you want the poetic scene of driving into the sunrise Lol as the race finishes , but you are an owl, its ok for you.

I also prefer starting in the day and finishing in the dark. ;)

As for the interview: if someone will be interviewing me, better send me the question to my email pavel(at)pavelvajner.com, 'cause gtplanet is blocked at my work. I can reah the forum (via google translate), but cannot answer now read messages.

have the latest pts been updated yet ?

i think stephen is right , for safety reasons start with good lighting , maybe start 4 pm and have it run day then night into day again
