A question, would you guys prefer to have weather announced earlier or it was ok like we did so far?

Also if someone wants to help me in season 2 planning just tell me, i'll give you a car to test on the same track we race so that we can have a good idea of how close or far the possible new cars are from the ones we use now (and that will be certainly confirmed). Also by next race i'll start posting news about season 2 ;)

If the race is based on actual weather then it would be hard too?

Personally I like the randomness, if anything I'd like to know the laps earlier!!

Also re S2 if your planning one then fine, but as I mentioned before personally I think it's to early. We're only 2 races into S1!

These 4s will most certainly be confirmed but i want to test some extras ones.

I'll test some gt500 cars depowered too there's a few gt500 cars that did actually run both in gt300 and gt500 championship. Those i'm looking into along with all other cars that rAn in the real world serie

It may seem early to plan, but it took me ages to plan season one lol

OK run some tests and i STRONGLY suggest training a bit with train for Suzuka is unforgiving.

i tested at around 20 with RS, at around 50 eith inters and st 100% with heavy wet tires.

my best on full wet was 2.26 just to give a figure, and i stopped losing the cars aftet 5 laps training.

so do not play on luck test and be ready in case a deluge will come down two japan lol

Just saw weather forecast in suzuka and is going to be light rain... How many laps Karsten?

Still evaluating; i think 38
hang on, theres no time change? so what time will race be (on game). so its best to check forecast for that time

It's fixed time, i think we'll start withvery low rain on tarmac like 10% and with a light rain going on.

I'll confirm laps and weather after i'll see the forecasts myself

Anyone done any running yet?

I read that the physics have changed from 1.03? Any news on the tire bug?
The tire bug is still there not tested myself but post on forum says so :( Did some short training yesterday but did not feel any bigger changes on physics.

weather at suzuka seems REALLY uncertain. I'll announce it on saturday or sunday; it seems it'll just be cloudy on some forecasts, while rainy all day on others...

Threads been really quite this week!

Any times from people who's ran laps? I've not been able to get on so I'm hoping to run some laps today/tomorrow.

Suzuka on wet? Man that'll be disaster for me. :D I don't like this track plus I don't have much time for training...

@azidahaka : Earlier in this thread you asked if we want to know the weather conditions in advance. As for me: yes, I'd like to know the room settings at least on saturday evening / sunday morning to be able to practise in race's conditions. ;)

checked forecasts. we race with a dry start, cloudy at 40%. presumably it'll stay so all race or at worst a few raindrops Monza style.

38laps ad pre-announced :)

im not sure but as i can no longer really challenge (stupid internet lol) i think i might test with my wheel monday. my pace is ok with it but when racing im not sure if i'll be experienced enough to race cleanly. i'll test and see

It's race day! All try to be on time and let's hope filo manages to stay awake lol

The many reserve drivers proved not serious so far, i haven't heard from them a single time... How difficult can it be to write a post, or send a PM?

In any case pumped up for tonight; be careful first lap turn1 and the double turn that brings under the bridge!

Havent tested any strategies but i think it will be like monza where its only soft tires being used .
I have run a 6 practice races with people at the settings for tonight .
3 times it has rained a up to 50% then eased off
once it has rained up to 80% and stayed wet till the end
once it has only showered up to 20%
and once no rain at all
the sad thing is after all that practice i am still too slow and still dont know my strategy LOL
but i do know lots of good crashing places , so it could be anything tonight, to mess up people stategies

i just want make sure with you guys, i clearly wont be dirty, but i might just scrape paint tonight, due to wheel. do you mind or should i use pad?

Since I swapped to the wheel I thought I get more control when braking and steering, and to add to that I was much quicker. Give it a race or 2 and you should feel a massive difference

Wheel always the way to go

The race will be a tough one like monza , its a long race and hard to be patient but the patience usually does pay of in the end

See you guys tonight , staying at work til 6 and race is at 7 so wont get much time to warm up

Im just a little worried about the tires but if the odds are saying it will be wet then the race could be anyone who gets the right tires at the right time
