Engine Break-in period

Hey guys! Tried searchin. But nothing for GT6 came up.

Was wondering if the 'engine break-in' period is in GT6? Went to FreeRun offic. In one
Of my cars and did 2 laps around RouteX and the HP didn't change. Does this mean it doesn't exist or that it has to be don. Another way?

Additional distance seems to no longer add on to the hp amounts of each car. The overall max tunable hp however seems to have been raised on every car I've seen so far.

I thought and posted the same in another thread and then I noticed something...

On my first two cars I bought I changed the oil as I always do and got the usual power increase, after that I saw no more power increases with driving. With my third car (Diablo GT) I decided not to change my oil to see what happens, this time the power has increased with distance.

So, I'm thinking before I do more testing it seems changing the oil gives you the full "break-in" power while not changing it initially "breaks" the car in over time (distance). Can't 100% confirm yet without doing more tests.

A guy in another post on the forums claimed that his 1100hp Viper went up to 1409HP after driving it for a few thousand miles. He may have made a typo when he said 1409hp, but he hasn't responded yet to our inquiries.

I'm doubtful.
