Pretty blue start to the championship thats for sure :nervous:

Holden fans had some things to be happy about, it was a miracle that tander still had a top 10 finish even after being taken out not once but TWICE.

Will Davison is the only man in the feild with top 10 finishes every race

AND all the walkinshaw performance cars were in the top 10 for race 6 of the championship.

The wins will come, soon. 👍
 
Did a 58.593 in my first 30 lap session. This week is gonna be so hard. It's so close in the top 10, I was very surprised. I'm not really happy with where I am now. My aim is always to be 2nd, only behind Dan. But that could be very hard this week. Everyone has put in such brilliant laps, keep it up guys.👍

I've been busting my a.. for at least a 100 laps, only to find myself obviously incapable of cracking the 59 barrier :scared:
I used to excuse myself with the less amount of time I spend on this compared to others, but mid 58 times after 30 laps prooves to me it's soley my lack of talent :banghead:

But hey, main goal accomplished: I'm still havin huge fun with this!

Well, didn't attempt to go quicker than this effort..... tired as all get out, big day at work and have been setting up a new PC and it's taken the time up tonight.... so no GT5P time :indiff:

I have work today so I won't have any time today to improve unfortunately :( I only managed to put in two 20 minutes sessions. Would have been nice to take off another tenth or two. Oh well...it was fun anyway 👍 :)

My submission and replay.
Ultimately a little disappointing as since setting this time I've gone 0.101 quicker in the first sector, which would have put me a clear 2nd on the leaderboard. Nonetheless, probably my best performance since round one.

By the way.... last call for your times to be PM'ed to me. 12 hours or so left.

Pretty disappointed really.:indiff: Pretty bad that i'm going to finish 6th in the double point round, this will be my lowest finish. So not really what I wanted but it certainly will spice up the championship a bit more heading into the tail end of this EYS series. Congrats to everyone this week. Pretty hard to make the car go fast this round.👍 Congrats to everyone in front of me, all top notch drivers.👍

LOL, I was just about to fire up the PS3 for a second sesh, didn't have any time last week. Just needed to get a good line on the last turn to break in the .4's or maybe high .3's. Glad I checked back.

I thought these always ended Thursday night?

Reading the thread today, I was thinking to myself that it is too late to submit a time, but then reading ripping's announcement here makes me think that the 6th of May deadline may have just been an inadvertent mistake, and we still have about 4 hours left to PM our times. But, nevertheless, it's in bold print there for all the world to see in the first post, so if it's too late to submit my time then I have no excuse...

I'll definitely be sure to pay closer attention next time.

hmmm didnt think i was that mad lol, ill give it another go i only need to find 0.005 for another 20 points.


Edit: Just snatched second by 0.009 with a last ditch effort 4 minutes from the deadline. Looking back on the lap im quite happy although there was still room for improvement on each sector.

exactly mate...........boys,i will raise hell if you even think about changing this now!!...i also read the first post clearly from when it whas posted last week,it said 6th of May ending and thats why i did not made an other effort today....(i finally had a day off today hoping for the next round to come up,and if this round ended today i would surely made a big session to come closer to Dans amazing lap!!!!)

Just read about the wrong deadline about 1150 and fired up the PS3 and did a 0'58.494 at 7 mins past 12 UK time. Oh well, could of got more time off as I planned to start a sesh at 6pm today but read here its all over.

Not too bad a lap for the small amount of time I tried.

No worries though, I don't expect to be included, nice to hear the Mustang again.👍

Nice chronos, your a very good driver alot better than i expected, probably best here behind Dan and im sure you would of had a .3 or maybe .2 with more time, also i think everybody else is improving and this race was mega close also great time ripping and spy 0.022 separted second, third and fourth. Madison wouldve of top 4 without a doubt with more time on this.
 
Sorry guys, deadline should have been 7th of May 23:59(GMT). It's normally every thursday night. I made a big stuff up.:indiff: If we make it the 6th half the field will probably be DQ'ed. So normal thursday night deadline would make more sense. But sorry to everyone.

does this mean that I had another night to do it? Thats rubbish, the original time was posted - no bannana, the rules don't change etc....

If half the field was DQ'd, doesn't that mean that the lower half (well some of them) will gain at least a little ground?

People can't go round assuming the date....the date may as well have been 2 days, you can't say you didn't see - it was posted first post. That's like me getting off the hook because I forgot to save my best replay - some of you assumed (or forgot to look) that the due date was different.

If this extended deadline is allowed.👎 to this comp. Fair's fair. I thought I'd had a pretty good run (although probably last looking at some of my competitors) so even if we had to do a rerun...👎
 
Ok, suggestions here..... Tell me what you think about the deadline. I'd like lots of opinions.

You do make a good point 80Y 2C2 that the rules can't be changed. So do we keep the 6th of May deadline?
 
I'd have to agree with you 80Y and also to spyrrari, the deadline should remain as to what6 was stipulated in the first post, a deadline is a very important part of any competition, and to alter it is completely ludicrous, a total injustice to the drivers who followed the rules.
