Dan is using the handbrake too all cars has handbrake.. its for something.. watch Tiago Monteiro using it on WTCC.. and many others drivers use it..

I'm just curious, but what is your point here? You're constantly diminishing other people's efforts... especially if someone happens to do a faster lap than Dan.

Even when they are not even attending in the comp. wtf. Just looks very childish to me.

lol just he thinks hes the best and hes not i could name 10+ faster than him but yeah he is still very good and better than me.

I'm not sure why you keep coming out with someone's better and putting everyone in order but while we're on about it, yes Dan is one of the best who we know plays the game. The IFTC, Dan was the pace setter most rounds, with a mega lap on day1 and a cigar all week and people watched and learnt and ground their way close. But at the start of this combo I'm sure May was back top within hours, and again today but who cares, May likes the car and its just for fun. May knows how good Dan is and so does Timppaq. Who said May is better lol?

There's thousands out there who can do what the top guys do. Not everyone has a PS3 yet, most people don't have time or want a plastic wheel. GT academy, one Pro driver got in and smashed Lars time which seem very fast after weeks of grinding, just one pro driver who got banned.

Just got up to 7th in Mine's. EYS has been getting more and more competitive lately. It's become the 'Alien TT comp' really. But I improved to a 1'09.502. So only improved by 0.017.

EDIT: Up to 6th now with a 1'09.4xx. Fairly happy with that but will no longer be happy if I get overtaken by spyrrari or markyboy. I would like to try and catch Chronos but I don't think I'll get that much faster. Maybe a few hundredths to come if I'm lucky.

wow.. at least you're really a kid.. i cant take your words as man and i'll only talk once more kid.. than say what you want.. you can also cry kid.. i wont response anymore to those regrettable comments, kid.

I never said i was the best.. actually i said "there's no best" ... but waf this matters... i dont care who's the best for you or for some other people that you know that would put me back (no one asked).. the only thing it matters for me is that there's not a Nº1 on GT.. i know really fast guys that some times im able to beat them, and other times im not... thats why this is funny.. aint shumacher here!

about the time and how many times do we try... ask personaly to Dan (that you love so much) how many hours and times he spent on GT... some times we are more concentrated on what we're doing and we can pull a fast lap quickly other times we cant! to beat Dan GTR suzuka time i admit it took me around 4 hours to get the feeling of the car.. then i was making constantly great times and then i have pulled the record... there's no super humans kid.. you really need hours praticing kid! after that on the same day later i went to HSR rev and as im used with Mine's the record came to me in about 30 minutes then i went to suzuka with Mine's again (cause Dan was chasing me almost everywhere on Mine's, for the record this have been an healthy duels on the last 2 weeks.. im loving it, thanks for that tight competition Dan👍) and i made that record in about 15 minutes (i was impressed with myself ) but as i was driving the Mine's there before it was quick to reach a good rythm sooner, had also some luck i think.. and thats the way the things goes on GT kid...

about the HSR rev again... actually i have made my 1st record about 3 months ago.. Dan improved, i improved, he improved, i improved.. so i count 3-2 (attempts) for me.. whats the BIG difference kid!?

if you really love Dan make a thread in tribute kid.. he's really good, he's also a reference for many guys... no one doubts, credits for him!

@Dan: sorry for involving your name on this but the kid brought your name to this dont know why nothing against you man.. you're a finnest guy and a top driver, we all know that... but this kid hasnt a valid point on any single word he said against me! :yuk:

You're lap time is awfully impressive for a pad...I really don't know if I could match that even with a lot of practice. What buttons do you use btw? I have a hard time controlling this beast with x and square buttons

I have always enjoyed reading markyboys comments lol, I can't really say anything bad about the young man because although his comments are absurd most of the time, at least he speaks his mind, or what he believes is true. This competition wouldn't be the same without your thoughtful remarks each race Marky.

The one thing you are way off though Marky is regarding myself as a better driver than MAY, because the simple answer is no way. After a few weeks battling away with the Mines, I have come to realise what a determined skillful driver MAY is, he always seems to find a way to improve on a seemingly perfect lap time, time and time again, a sign of greatness

With regard to the handbrake, I dislike using it and I am not going to practice much with it as hopefully such unnatural techniques will not be needed once the full game is released. Plus its very awkward to use it with the DFGT, not sure what its like with the G25 though

i use it only to put the nose of the car on the right place again when i go to a corner with a bit more speed than the best.. and in some other particular situations like more than 90º corners.. and that depends on the car/track or so... Mine's is a nice car to use it because the car likes a bit of controlled slide..

for me on G25 is:

TT: to avoid at maximum take out the hands of the wheel... left button-ghost (i turn it on to help me psychologically when im in front of the wanted time, that works really well on me ), right button-handbrake as a resource maneuver (as i said before)

racing: left view, right view

And by the way, I really don't know how you guys are all finding more and more time. I know I can go quicker but for me it's nearly impossible to string a good lap together. But that I suppose is what seperates the men from the boys.

Tnx:tup:! I use x and square too. Ive always thought you used the right analogue for aceleration and braking... Has i said its my favourite car for years so i know him very well, just love the behavior of it and that crazy torque and HP! Has you see my singature´s not that crazy after all specially for a sixaxis! Youll have the same troubles in other tracks to get me also and specially fujiGT! And i can do better in every track, but i need some incentive from other drivers like making pressure! Wanna make a battle between you and me?

As far as a Friday night GMT finish.... makes no difference to me either way.

But you can't change this rounds finish time, there are those who have already submitted and posted replays. For next round maybe.

Yeah, i'm hoping to try and move up the rankings.

Deadline being on friday night would allow people to have a proper last run. Ending on a thursday, people sometimes have their big last run on the weekend.

I will put up a time for you at another track...it will take some practice to get comfortable with this car though Hopefully I don't speak to soon I sure do love the Mines, so I'm up for the challenge 👍

For some reason I find this car to be particularly challenging here at HSR. For me I have a tough time putting the power down on the banked areas of the track. I try to keep my laps clean, so I can't get away with tapping the wall at T1 to get a better/easier exit either.

Anyways, I'm off to Fuji GT in the Mines

I think the changing of 'feedback' on my wheel may be helping me, 1'09.295 still some left as i got a .803 T1, best T2 so far and a solid T3 but still room for improvement on every corner really.


Just thought id say one thing, horders lap is very good minus the wall touch but it seems the pad is pretty much as fast as the wheel with this combo or maybe is it because this is your favourite car and you have done alot of racing with it?
