I figured if that time I submitted wasnt good enough to be in the upper of the 2 divisions, then I dont want any part of the upper division

Massive 👍 to El Z and Carl, I was ready to quit at 20.9! but I couldnt go out knowing El and Carl were both stomping on me. To be honest, I am really happy being within .2 off Carl, surely he will improve if he puts his mind to it.

This competition has already heated up, and we're just running the qualifier

Great times by Mr. ZISSOU, EERS4YEARS and DK. That was pretty fun last night seeing everybody improving their times every 30 min. to 1 hour.
That's what makes EYS so much fun I think. WRS is good too, but I liked being able to see what everyone was doing. The WRS split times can be very misleading sometimes. But I guess that suspense is what makes it unique.

Like DK, I was thinking a 20.4xx was my limit, but now I think I can maybe reach a low 20.1xx. But, I'm also anxious to see some of the heavy hitters get up there and show us how it's really done 👍

EDIT: I just looked at the leaderboard, the aliens (KOR_Joker) are now arriving 👍

I had my first go in this car tonight, its really nice to drive 👍

I haven't got the most out of it yet but I can definitely see where I can make up alot of time.

Did about 15 laps or so today while i whas home for lunch...(don't tell my boss...lol)made it into the top 10 quickly i have to say honestly...

As probably many more here i really dislike this car,mainly because of all cars in GT5P it doesn't really drive like the one in real life(i have driven it twice and it drives like a go kart,allmost like a light/beginner formula racer car(formula ford,any open wheel racer without wings!!))in the game it feels more like a superlight BMW135i or something like this...



This does not take away the fact that Madi-san chose a perfect combo for this quilifier,although i don't really agree with the earlier comments in this thread that it will separate the men from the boys....for me that would have been thru if the car chosen whas a car with a lot more horses and thus a lot more speed and thus a lot more tail happy when on the power.....!!

But he!!!can't please everyone at the same time eh???.....lol!!


Anyway,will offcourse have a serious session later this week and see if i can get closer to the nr1 spot online!!!

Just did a few laps myself and got up to 9th.

Unfortunately my wheel isn't working very well to say the least so it's going to be hard to achieve a sub 2'20 I'm pretty sure if my wheel was working properly I could go under the 2'20 without too much issue, but atm it's really difficult to tie a good lap together with the FFB so screwed up and the steering angle changing at various moments

I'm going to contact Fanatec tomorrow to try and get a replacement, but even if they do send me a new one I doubt it will be here by the deadline for the qualifier

Oh well, I guess all I can do is do my best given the current situation and try and crawl my way into D1

Sign me up for the slow guy class, I want no part anyone going sub 2'20 without a clutch.

Z06fun is right at 2'20 (2'20.04.) I could keep up with, or pass, his ghost up until the hairpin after T1. Once he hits that straight it was all over for me. I beat P2 (at the time, MikkoValle?) to that point several times also.

Thanks for the advice and words of motivation Spy 👍 I will definitely put some pressure on them to get it to me ASAP

I think I can improve by a couple of tenths, but like I said, going under 2'20 with the way the wheel is working atm will take some cooperation from the wheel and some luck


- Doh! I just took .240 off my T2 only to get a nasty kick/glitch from the wheel at the T2/T3 split throwing my entry off into 130R

I had a crack at this combination earlier, but was a bit hot and bothered and settled for an average looking 2'20.168, maybe later tonight if it cools down I'll make some steps towards bridging the gap to Kor Jokers time, the best non clutched effort on the leaderboard, his T1 was magically impressive, but his final 2 sectors weren't as accurate.

Great combo Mad, Highly addictive!

Had a go tonight, my previous best here was sitting at 50 something and i was struggling to match that until i watched one of the top times

After that i managed to pull off a dead 21, sitting in 22nd. I should be able to get into the 20s but not as deep as you guys at the top!!

The Americans seem to be dominating....

I love this combo....I think the S1 elise combo is better, but it hasn't taken me any time to break the top 100.

Had my first run tonight and ended up with a 2'20.3. Still more time in it, but I won't get as much time as I'd originally hoped to i'm afraid. So tomorrow will probably be it for the qualifier. A bit busy at the moment with a few things including running EYS II (not wanting to stuff it up mind you, so concentrating a bit harder ) and also league racing on rFactor is taking time away. But I still think that I can go faster in the next few days in the Elise.

I'm loving the combo, not my favourite of all time, but very addictive and challenging. I figured this when I tested it though, but I only did 10 laps so now I'm really finding it a challenge.

Oh yeah - sure I'll put up a fight, I'm just saying that I don't usually disappear into people's rear view mirrors like you saw. Sure - I ain't saying I'll come first or anything - I just said I hope to be on the podium (which will be hard as I'll start uni in the middle of it), but as I said on another forum - I wouldn't piss on my driving and tune that night if it was on fire - probbaly because I was the one that set it on fire in the first place.
