Geez you lads in the 2'25's (and '24's!!!) are ridiculous.......... had 8-10 laps this morning and thats as good as i can get with the TT i'm afraid, just doesn't seem to suit my style.

Still, found nearly half a second from my time set a fortnight or so ago, so i'm satisfied...... i've got better things to do with my life than put a couple of hundred laps in to find a tenth or so from here on in.....

To the lads in the top 10, great times and great lines!!!

So has everyone understood the rules for this race? Driving aids optional, clutch allowed for this race only, clean laps only. Just clearing up all the previous confusion, because I don't want anymore fights or arguements. This is meant to be a fun Time trial comp where you get to improve your lap times.

Very hard to match you through the 1st sector, but i improved my time a bit. Its so hard trying not to hit the limiter, i use the chase cam

Yeah, you need to rev it out as much as you can(7000rpm), but then you run the risk of hitting the limiter and losing a lot of time.

I feel that my T1 is pretty fast, I've got that sector sorted out. I lose all my 0.3 to jinxstir in the second half of the track.

I have always used the chase cam (since GT1) and its just so natural for me

I use the bumper cam sometimes but im always faster with the chase cam

i would have almost matched your time today but i lost over a tenth through the final chicane.

currently 5th i think

I don't think I will be putting in anymore effort into this time trial. I don't really see much point considering all of the wheel guys have the option of using the clutch at this point, which IMO is probably worth about 2-3 tenths. I'm already handicapped enough as it is using the 6-axis, the fact that I have no clutch puts me at even more of a disadvantage. I could probably get down into the 2'25.4xx's with some more runs, but by the time the round is done, most of the point scoring positions will probably be faster than me anyway. Sorry for the rant...just felt like I wasted the effort even putting in the time I did. I will probably compete in some of the later rounds though. Good luck guys 👍

back to topic.

First go at this, my first thoughts were: "this is so slow" compared to WRS15 R8 at same track..

After a few good laps my temporary position was 50th place at online leaderboard.
When I quit the time trial run and
the time got submitted I was ranked as 51th

There is atleast .5 seconds left on the track for me.

Trying to match timeattack07gt's time .. sixaxis power!!

Shame to here this, your the best 6 axis driver i know so if you do your best you cant be disappointed, your not that far off and you will definatly score some points, with a wheel you would be even faster:tup:.

Thanks mate. The next round of 6-axis Championship is posted, so I will be concentrating on that for now anyway. I have about another month and a half to wait until the Fanatec GT3 RS wheel is released and I order one. At this point I don't really see much point in doing these time trials with the 6-axis. It just takes too long to come up with a good lap, which I could probably achieve in a tenth of the time if I had a wheel. Once I get my wheel set-up maybe I'll be able to make a come back in the later time trials though 👍

I've been trying real hard on this one and can only reach low 2.29s. I know I got skill but I just can't connect with the car. Any one know the section most integral to a good time? Any tips would be great - I tried ghosts but they didn't help too much.

This car feels quite weird.

It can go faster than it feels it can go. - thats the simplest way i can put it.

You have to trust the car and push it until it feels like you will fly off the track and then you will find the real limits.

Hi there, pretty cool combo, i tried it offline for a bit just for a few laps, nothing special, hey any chance that people can still compete in this competition offline? I know the rules say laps must be done online but I do not have an internet connection at home for a while.

He can save his replay and post it in here. Then you will have to transfer it to your ps3 to watch the video. Same way WRS works.

It's just a way to check that the time he submits is true. We ask for it to be done online so we can go to the rankings and check times. But if it can't be done online, we can accept a replay to check his time.

You guys need to sort this out. I'd want to see where the competition is as any stage, not be ambushed at the last minute by an offline competitor. No disrespect to Dan, but the rules do state 'online' only. If you decide to change it now... that would be 2 rules out of four being changed in the first week.
