Before you start your race, go to the settings menu...from there you can select to turn up or down the driving aids...you can even turn them all of to zero (meaning all driving aids OFF).

Even with all the driving aids off for some cars, it's still easy to control the car...the more high power cars (especially American muscle type) are harder to control with the aids off...but it doesn't make a huge difference with them on or off in my opinion.

regarding the cars driving themselves with the DFP.. could it be that the front wheels are just countersteering for you because that is the direction of least resistance? or is the car actually turning IN for you... that would be UNCOOL! this is the first time i hear any one reporting too much assistance.

oh and for all those people arguing and arguing.. give it a rest and dont add more fuel to the fire .. let the fan boy state his business and just ignore them.. is there a block button here, i hate reading internet arguments

ps.. i saw all the videos and screenshots of EPR and WOW i want BOTH GAMES!!!

i wonder if this game will also be able to support 1080i like GT4.. im thinking of getting a component->vga box just for GT4.. but if it also works with EPR that would be sweet

NOOO!!!> The problem is it doesnt contersteer fast enough on its own, but a flick of the wrist makes the wheel spin pretty fast. 👍

To SaintKamus, you turn the aids off in the cars settings in GT4 like in GT3. Turnnign them off in the options only applies to the arcade mode cars.

I actually think this is a good looking game. But I haven't come across a demo, so how do I know if a game is as good as it looks? You know, it's like trying to pick a girl based on beauty. But you may never know, she may hate every last aspect about you. As far as this game goes, it looks to perhaps add more to the trends of current racing games. I've seen those nighttime touge action and the desert off-roading. If EPR doesn't even come close to beating Gran Turismo, at least give it credit for trying out some new things.

Is EPR going to be delayed? Anyhow, if that stands for EPR, here's the question. Get GT4 first? Or EPR? In one way, if EPR was released before GT4, EPR would be the first big game in what I call "The Year of the Racing Game" as GT4, Enthusia, and Forza will lock horns like our state's U. of Texas Longhorns.

But back on topic, I don't think the delay will be too bad for Enthusia. Because just like the Gran Turismo series, the wait will probably be worth it. Just like many of us are getting GT4, you all will get Enthusia. So keep your hopes up.

Hi
I didn't read through the 10 pages here, but I just wanted to say that I've played Enthusia about 40 minutes on the Leipzig Games Convention in summer '04...

Graphics : Well, I stood about 1 m in front of a midclass tv, so all I can say that it never the less looked good, but you alle know the videos so let's go to

Gameplay:

I really liked the gameplay: it reminded me most of Gran Turismo, I'd say.... I think the way the cars handle etc can be compared to GT, although steering is a little more difficult, so you have to drive carefully, we have to see if they changed something since last summer or if tuning is availible to improve steering.... so I would say that Enthusia is a bit slower, but it's fun never the less... I've raced on 6 tracks or so (desert-cool, but a bit too slow perhaps; oval : well, oval...nothing special to say about; part of Nueburgring : darker but seemed to be like in GT 4, so better than Project Go. R.; a night course with wet track, really cool grafics and changed gameplay(wet track), a rally course, well hard to steer and to drift as I can remember, perhaps not enough oversteer to be really realistic, as far as I can remember....; and amy favorite course was the track with the old european looking
town

Conclusion :

I will definitly import the game from Japan, and it will be a great game, even if they didn't change a bit since last summer, that's for sure, believe me
By the way I also played FORZA on that show, also not a bad game, but I liked enthusia more...
Well,I don't know if you want to trust me, but I'd say that I really know what I'm talikng about, as I'm a true racing game fan ( GT 1,2,3,4P,4 all jp Version played through, gt4 not yet but on my way^^...., Battle Gear 2, Battle Gear 3, Kaido Battle, Kaido Battle 2 : Chain reaktion, Shutokuo Battle 1,2,0,01 Wangan Midnight, Intial D, touge 3, Max, driving emotion, dtm race driver, GT cube... all rally games well I stop here...let's say most racing games existing on any systems since the mid 90's..... so belive me, enthusia will be a great game, no GT, but a perfect game to spend on 30 hours or so....
