I just had this error.
I simply was on the main map, pressed the garage icon and everything froze up for like a minute. I couldn't move around the cursor or anything. All I could do was press the PS button and go back to the PS4 home screen. Back to GT7, this error showed up. Pressed ok, and everything went back to normal.
Weird.

first time playing GT7 in a week to the weekly races, attempted to the online time trail in the Corvette ZR1 ‘89 at Dragon Trail, after I’ve entered the menu, I couldn’t move the cursor round the world menu, so I closed the game, then this came up twice as I tried to continue then it’s just black screen, I can still get the PS menu up and see my friends who are online, I’m not too sure about this or what to do as it’s the first time it’s happened to me. In the end I’ve managed to get on but offline mode then it’s all back to normal.
I’m sorry I am autistic so I maybe bit slow processing and wondering what is actually happening in the end.

Guys I am having this issue since I started downloading the update, all other games are working fine and I can log into PSN normally.

I did install it , it finished downloading like 10 hours ago, and it has been installed for a couple of hours now.
still no luck, I am getting 3 errors in this order:
1- e2-ce210610
2- NP-104602-3
3- The game itself tells me it cannot connect to ps store (which I can connect to and every other game can connect to normally)

I'd try a hard reboot and rebuild the console database.

FIXED:
in case anyone runs into this strange problem again, I did the following:
1- I disconnected the LAN cable and connected the PS to a wifi hotspot, weirdly the game worked fine.
2- I returned the LAN cable and it stopped working again.
3- I rebooted the wifi router and it now works.
it's very weird since all my other devices were connected properly to the internet, even other games on the PS were working properly but for whatever reason only GT wasn't happy with the connection.
