Well, the news was very bad. Vet says my dog has probably been living with cancer for years and it's decided to make itself known. The good thing is, he's home now and doing much better with medication. I'm going to race the first combo, possibly the second, but as soon as he heads to bed, I'm out.

I'm so sorry diabolic :(

We lost our Bear about 10 years ago, still think of him often.

The network is down for maintenance for me right now. Anyone else or am I just a lucky one?

I'm on the PSN now. Or should that be for now?

I guess you must have signed in before the maintenance started. It's supposed to be done by 10 CST, but who knows. ugh. If it does get done in time maybe we can just race for fun with some standard cars, but I don't see us getting a full session in tonight

I signed in around 7:15 MST. But I'm in Canada, could be a different schedule for those servers.

Yeah, upon research the outage only effects the US and UK. I tried restarting and that didn't change anything.

huh... well i take that back then. feel free to start without me, and I'll try to join in as soon as i can. try to have someone record the results if you can.

It's only supposed to be down until 11EST. Anyone up for making it happen an hour late?

Nevermind. I still can't log in, by the way.

I'm down. The 7 who got in might just make a go of it without us, though.

Same here. It's a shame. The wife relinquished control of me tonight just for this.

Any word on the network situation? It's supposed to be back up by now but I still can't get on.

Some quick pics from tonight!

Good racing guys!

Sweet pictures Dabney.

I still detest the FGT...even with 90% engine limiting, lol

I think you need to give it a try with an open mind, it is a really fun car and need to have superb throttle control or at least don't floor it all the way right away, once you get into a rhythm the car actually handles extremely well as long as you don't go over grass. I bit the grass on 1st race and ended up doing the 'Wolf' move LOL.

I did had a lot of fun with this one though. Hope it stays.

Hey, I got the scoring spreadsheet (1/17/13 and Template) sorted out. The total and podium columns were not adding all the appropriate columns. Not sure what happened, you never know with Google Docs , but hey it's free!

Thanks for the races last night, much fun 👍 Was especially good to hear cursing at the game through a headset laying across the room :)

Thanks. The FGT really does reward good throttle control. Waiting for lap 2 and for the tires to warm helps greatly as well. I would like to see the FGT on another track, but I'm guessing Spa will remain. That being said, I'm going to defer my choice to second place. I guess Diabolic can pass his choice down if he wants.

Attempting the FGT series in A-spec reasonably recently counts as giving it a chance in my book. And, as I said on Wednesday night during practice, even with a good setup and driving assists, it's nowhere near being a favourite car of mine.
