Hey racefan i will not be able to run in the third race as i dont have the track. The one im talking about is the 580pp Race cars at Circuit de la Spa-Francorchamps.

Well I know for a while there you couldn't buy it because of some regional price conflict, but it should be up now. I'll look for and if I can find it I'll let you know where to look.

Ok guys, we'll be leaving the time as is. Frankly, if I'd realized how many problems the time change would cause, I would have voted against it rather than saying I didn't care

Yea this time change thing has me flustered also. If it is to promote higher grid #'s, how is 3 drivers from D3 not racing going to increase grid #'s for D3? I want to race with tezgm99, appmadock, and zer05ive, that's why I tried so hard to get promoted to D3, to follow tezgm99. What is happening here!?!

I've got a free night so I'm jumping in tonight. I have a question about the 4 door requirement. Would a 4 door with a hatchback be considered ok? I'm not talking about a wagon but something like a mazda 6. I haven't looked for a car yet so I don't even know if there is anything like that car that will make the PP. Just looking for clarification.

When dabneyd made the pick the only thing he specified was 4 doors, so I think a hatchback should be fine so long as it has 4 doors and meets the drivetrain/PP requirements. Edit: Ah, dabneyd explained it better. Use his suggestions since he picked the combo.
And yes Wolfsatz, the combos are up to date.
Finally, a word on tuner cars, since this came up in our "practice" session last week. If a tuner car is street legal, it can be used in a round that is designated for street cars, so long as it meets all other requirements. Due to the PP restrictions there should be no discernable advantage to running a tuner car at the same PP, and history has showed that to be true in almost all cases.

Seeking proper clarification on using the RX-8 concept for the 4-door round. Obviously with so few of us last week it wasn't an issue since we didn't count the race anyway.
Edit: and funny you should mention that, Goat. Because when the league expanded to five divisions, I tried really hard to get bumped up to D3 so I could race against Ap again

I am starting to believe what was said about D3 as being the best division to be in!
Obviously I don't know D1/D2 on Sundays, but I really enjoy D3 a lot more than D5/D4.
I hope that we can find a better solution to the timing issue; I love racing with you guys too 👍

As far as I'm concerned there's no problem with it, but final say goes to dabneyd since he picked the combo. Theres a fairly limited number of cars that fit these specs though, so i hope he allows it. It makes things more interesting.

Yeah, those figures must be from that one update that screwed with the PP. The Carlton will not fit in at 450 PP. It was my first choice, but it required well over 10% limiting. Actually dabneyd, I think rasing the PP may open up the selection more than lowering would. I'll check my garage and get back to you on that.
Edit: Ok, based on my garage at least, it seems like lowering the pp to 420ish or lifting it to 470ish would really open the selection up. Personally I'm ok with leaving it, but if you don't have a car that will fit in, please sound off as to what direction you'd like to see it go.
