I won this car in one of the enduros, and i've only done some small stuff, as far as testnig and such. I want to use it in an enduro, but i can't crack the car. What would be a good setting for it to use it in the trail moutain 2 hour enduro???

Thanks,

~`(_Nate_)`~

You can't run it in the Trial Mountain 2hr Enduro. That's only for non-modified road cars.

...
god i feel stupid.

thank you Famine....you are seeming to be a god to me when it comes to GT3.

EDIT:
What i don't get, then, if you can only use road cars ,then how come it shows circuit cars in the picture in the background (Liek the Nismo Pennzoil car or the Toyota GT1) How come?!

EDIT2: Well then..what car would be good to use for that enduro and what type of settnigs should i use???

That said, I didn't actually provide any settings help... But I do recall seeing some recently... Let me dig for a while...

Hmm... I could only find some settings by some putz who claimed to be the "only person in the world who can drive the Panoz" and then promptly got blown off the face of the Earth by someone driving it stock... Sorry.

The quickest in each class are:
FR: TVR Speed 12
MR: TS020 GT-One Road Car
RR: Ruf RGT
4WD: Ruf CTR2
FF: Honda Integra Type-R (hard to win in this)

The RGT is a good bet. Try testing out your tyres combinations so you can pit in every 15 minutes.

Ha Ha Ha, thats some funny **** right there:lol:

I was running it this very morning when the power went out at 104 minutes.
Anyway you only need to turn the ASM off and TCS to 1 or 2 for whatever you run at TM.

heh..i read that in the thread. I don't post alot here but boi do i read alot of stuff.

I have my RUF maxed out at like 1120 or somethign liek that, and i t says it needs to be normal car. What do i need to take off of it to make it 'normal?'
Oh, and i like how it rides with ASM at 0 and TCS at 2. Makes it harder, even if i do smoke the comp in the straights, it's fun. Heh...

If you've done ANY non-reversible mods you won't be able to run it.
So if you've done weight reduction, port/polish, or full balance You won't be able to run the car at TM enduro.

There are many good choice for this race.
If you can run 6 laps every ten minutes, you will win. No worries.
I was running the NSX S-Type Zero.
I imagine with T3's you can probably beat this race with the TommyKaira ZZ-S or the Lotus Elise.
I was SPANKIN' the AI in the NSX, and I was running 6 laps about every 9min 50sec on average.

Hi Nate

I don't know how much of a challenge you're looking for but it is possible to win the TM Enduro in a stock Camaro (with the addition of T2 tyres).

That makes it fun as you're in a constant fight to stay ahead of the multi-pitting NSX (who is way faster but has to change his boots every few laps :)).

Here's a repost of my Panoz settings from the Laguna Enduro:

Maybe I got the wrong impression, but I've seen lots of people complain about the Panoz, and how worthless it is. With 199 miles on a tough course under my belt with it, I really don't understand why.

I ran the car stock - 618 hp with oil change with a weight of 1150 kg. HP fell to 588 towards the end of the race. Knowing I wanted to beat an 8-lap pit interval, I went with T3s, which are not as grippy as T4s OR as loooong lasting as T2s. A compromise tire.

I made my common set of knee-jerk suspension adjustments to it, after about 1 flying lap of stock settings. Increased front camber, lowered ride height by 15% and stiffened springs by 15%, and maximized downforce. By rights I should have stiffened the springs more to match the D/F, but they were near the top as it was. I didn't touch the dampers at all.

I shortend the transmission autoset by a few clicks, but left the final drive ratio alone. I could have gone more, because in 200 miles I never ever touched 6th gear. That probably would have let me lap the Viper.

The car handled very neutrally; it turned in crisply and was responsive to midcorner throttle adjustments. It didn't get all flustered by liberal use of rumble strips, which can really make a difference at Laguna. Tires wore fairly evenly, with mild understeer showing up in the last lap or two of a cycle. It needed a slightly gentle touch on the throttle when digging out of tight corners; but this could be an advantage, and could have been moderated by about 5 minutes' worth of damper adjustments if I had bothered. Here are my first-pass settings:

Springs: 17.4/15.2
Ride Ht: 70/74
Bound: 7/7
Rebound: 7/7
Camber: 3.0/1.0
Toe: +0.0/-0.0
Stabilizers: 4/4
Brakes: 15/15
D/F: 0.85/1.08 (max)

Autoset: 32 (could have been 30, probably)
F/D: 4.000 (I think; whatever the stock setting is)
LSD: 10/40/20
ASM: 0
TCS: 1

Overall I found it a very pleasant ride. My only quibble is about the engine note, which sounds like bad recording at high revs. Other than that it is a fine car, and I'm totally baffled why people don't seem to like it.

For the TM Enduro, I ran a Viper GTS on T3s and pitted every 5 laps just to match the NSX Zero, and still kicked his hindquarters.

I haven't touched the Esperante much, but I run with 0 ASM, 0 TCS and downforce .85/.90. Everything else is default.

It has lower downforce than other GTs and more power than most of the JGTCs so you need to brake early. Due to it's FR drivetrain and decent power, you need to be careful with throttle application in low speed corners (esp. without TCS).

This car is not the fastest or the easiest drive, but it better than the Lister Storm.
