There are some concrete area of the track were we need a ruling whether they can be used or not

1, Apex of the left hander just after the first sector time
2, Wide section of the following corner
3, Last sharp right hander before going out on the long finish straight

I think we should allow to use this sections to make it equal to all, at least #1 and #3. Might not me perfect for the purists but I think its better to enable fair competition between all.

As for posting here in this thread for nowOFF TOPIC, SORRY).

I´m not pretty sure what is allowed. We have become
a social group, and You Guys feels like my real friends,
so it would be nice to have the possibility to "talk" to

But since its obvious that the Moderators are at the
moment just searching for any single little mistake,

The thread has not become 'unwanted' and not one single member of the staff has come close to saying that.

A report was made regarding AUP violations in this thread, the staff looked at the thread and issued warnings and infractions regarding them (as we would ion any thread).

The staff then received a fair bit of (rather personal) abuse both in this thread and via PM, further warnings were issued and the thread (which had gone way off track) was locked.

Following a discussion (between ourselves) it was agreed that as long as the AUP is followed then the thread can remain open.

That the issues with the postings have not been drawn to the staffs attention before does not make a bit of difference, if you break the speed limit on a road day after day, then moaning when you get caught that you have been doing it for months before is no defense.

The AUP here is not optional and being honest its getting rather tiring having to repeat the same thing over and over again, individual members are responsible for the quality and content of he posts they make, we all agreed to follow the AUP when we joined. All we are asking you to do is follow it, do so and we have no reason to take action, its all rather simple.

I agree. I think the first action by a moderator was aboslutely justified, but now its going too far. The second moderators (daan) post was in my opinion unnecessary and if made, better suited on a PM bases. This is one of the most active racing groups on the forum and in the game itself, and in my view the moderators need to also see the bigger picture and take targetted actions rather than forum based infecting badwill into a large group of people using this thread as communication vehicle.

Rather than continuing this downwards sprial where no one wins I urge the racing group to focus on this racing league and the moderators to stop nitpicking almost on a personal bases.

Make sure you have the wheel on simulation, FFB is up to you but mines on 9 or 10 can't remember!

I´m not sure if it matters with a DFGT the simulation setting..?
Of course I can be wrong,but I read somewhere that it don´t
support most wheels.....

FFB is a little too weak on any wheel imo, so put it to FULL.👍

I prefer a less macho FFB, just increased it from 3 to 4. Feels as I'm not fighting the wheel that much on a lower FFB setting. On my G27 I also run it in simulation mode and with power assist set to OFF.

I did read somewhere that putting a squash ball somewhere under the breaking pedal will improve the feel of it on the DFGT. Search the forums.

This. Don't break the rules and we won't "bother" you. However, despite all the public and private warnings, we're still get posts like the one below with absolutely no capitals and no grammar.

We're not asking for miracles. All we expect is no text speak, a bit of shift key use for "I", proper names and at the start of sentences, and comma and a full stop here and there.

Well done guys. I stuck my neck out for you in a discussion on the mod sub-forum to re-open this thread and give you a chance, its rather disappointing to see how that was rewarded.

All that was asked was that the AUP was followed, the one you all agreed to when you joined. Its rather simple and the exact same that is asked of all members, I see no reason why this thread and the people who post in it should be granted any form of exemption?

As for this being just about grammar, far from it, but its easy to be judgemental without the full facts. I have access to the abusive PMs sent to members of staff after simple reminders were given.

I myself was accused of being a Nazi. Do you think that to be acceptable behaviour? Try the same on a PD or Sony forum and see how long your membership lasts.

As for being a kid, well at the age of 40 its been quite a while since that accusation was levelled at me, but then again I am not the one having problems communicating without insults.

The threads locked and its stays that way this time, and please do not claim fair warning was not given.

A quick heads-up for those of you promoting other sites, attempts to draw members away in this manner without the approval of the site owner is considered advertising and will see those doing it banned.
