Every GTPlanet Tune That Exists Is In This Thread!!!

@krenkeme, you don't need to do that. Really just need it from the threads that have way too much spam going on, making it difficult to locate tunes. For example, RKM gets roughly 10 new pages per week, of which there may be 2, if any, tunes. Making it a rather large waste of time, scanning 10 pages, to find a single tune. Outlaw Motorsports and Praiano's garage's have the same issue. For most other garages, it's rather simple to keep track of new tunes, as long as they don't get buried by post after post of insignificant banter.

@C-ZETA, I'll look into the HKS, I rarely use that car, and it was definitely designed for offline. I just recently started playing GT5 again, and I've only had a chance to test about half of my tunes, but so far, they all seem roughly the same to me, but I've just been trying to get back into the groove of racing again, as I was admittedly a bit rusty.

@Ealirendur, if you're willing to take on the WRS that's be great. I know I got the first 10 weeks all done when I was on top of things, and possibly even to the 15th week, I'd have to go back and look. All you would need to do, is copy the direct link of the individual post and the name of the creator, and simply put them into a PM and send it to me, once a week. Less in fact, since not all weeks include tune'able cars.

Example: (These are just the last 3 posts of this thread)
Full car name

And that would be all I needed via PM, and I could easily add them in each week's update.

I had a problem, with many tunes that were on the 'pending' list. Due to a computer crash, they've all been lost. Roughly 60 tunes I believe, so...
Consider this permission for all who care, to find out which of your tunes I'm missing, and blow up my PM box. I'll update them as I get them.

The website, is current as of this very second, to every known tune I have. So if it's not there, then I don't have it.

Adrenaline - I added 41 spec 2.0 tunes this past week. Do you know if many of them made it in or should I just check them all?

I believe all of yours made it in. I had 5 browser pages 'pending', 3 of them got put in, the other 2 were the older of the 'pending' tunes. I'm assuming from early November, anything posted in that 2 week time frame. Just finished adding all of the past WRS, thanks to ealirendur.

This is the best sticky on the whole site. Obviously tons of work went into it, great job and very helpful.

You should really fix the page so that it's not white on white at the bottom..

Edit: but really great job otherwise :) (didn't mean to only whine when you're doing such a great job..)

I can't fix something that I can't recreate.
I've tried using Windows XP, with Chrome, Mozilla and IE.
I've used Windows 7 with Chrome and IE,
I've used a Macbook with Safari,
Even on the PS3 browser it works correctly for me.
Not across any one of these platforms/combinations have I been able to recreate this 'white background' issue.

So unless people can give me some more specific details on what systems/browsers/etc they're using, I have to assume the fault isn't within the site, but in your personal settings, either in your browser, OS, graphics card, etc etc.

Hi Adrenaline, alot of links to my garage on your site are dead now because I removed a lot of my tunes from my thread. I think it might just be the links under 'J's Tuning'. If you want to remove all the 'J's Tuning' links from your site I would appreciate it but its up to you if you can be bothered. I think its just the 'J's Tuning' links, not the 'Top Performance Tuning' links.
Thanks in advance. 👍

EDIT: Just checked all the 'J's Tuning' links and they can all be removed.

On my computer I can't access the website now. Been like this a little while before this got stickied again...

Basically, when I click on the link, it doesn't actually load up. Sometimes it loads the background and the first text but no further...and then it freezes up my browser. All 3 of them - IE, Firefox and Chrome.

I should also note that when I load it up in Chrome it claims there's insecure content on it, but it doesn't change the result if I load it or not.

I have cleared cookies and cache before hand and neither have resulted in a fix. On Windows 7 here as well too.

Website is working for me. I checked it on an old work computer, Windows 2000 + IE and it works fine. Currently working on my computer, 7 + Chrome, as well as 7 + IE. My roommates computer runs XP and has all 3 browsers installed, and it's working correctly on all 3. And I also used his Mac Laptop, with Safari and again, everything works fine.

Unfortunately I'm not nearly knowledgeable enough about web design, but if there are any website wiz's around, by all means, hit me up via PM. I can't even figure out how to get google to crawl the site so it comes up on their search engine. For a site that generates roughly 20k hits a month, I'd expect it to at least be on the first page of google results, but unless you search for 'gt5tune' it won't come up for whatever reason.

As for the insecure content, that's simply how the ads work. They (to my best understanding) access your personal data, history, cache, search queries, etc, and then display ads on the page, based on what you've recently been looking for or browsing.

It works fine for me on Mac Firefox 9. What do you want people to search for, for it to come up first on google?

GT5 tuning, gt5 setups, gt5 tunes, gt5 suspension settings
(Add 'Gran Turismo' to any of those in place of GT5)
Just about any car name that includes 'GT5' in the search as well.

Like I said, the only search query that will list my page as a result is 'gt5tune' even when you search for 'gt5 tune' it no longer comes up.

For anyone searching the web to find help with tuning, they will never logically find my site. 'gt5tune' is a search I doubt anyone would type into google under normal circumstances.

-- Edit --

So, I did some deeper research into Google Analytics and found this:

19522306.jpg

Direct Traffic = 33%
Referral Traffic = 60%
Search Traffic = 6%

Essentially, direct traffic is a bookmarked page. People who go directly to the site, with no middle man.

Referral traffic is when you are transfered to my site, from another website. This is predominately coming from GTPlanet, as well as the Playstation forums, facebook is up there, somehow, as well as a bunch of other small sites (112 total). Basically, when you clink on the link, from any other website that may have it listed.

Search traffic, is people who arrive at the site from a search engine. The 6% is actually an inflated number, because if you look at the picture above, 1,179 of the results are from people who are looking for my site, under previous knowledge of its existence, meaning not a genuine search. Removing those 1,179 views and the actual search percentage falls to only 5.08%

Fixed the problem I was having myself. I deleted all of my plugins due to a problem I got here, and not only did doing so fix that but the website also works again now. 👍

Made a few updates, that should help a portion of people find what they're looking for.
Drift, Drag, Wheelie, NASCAR and Gymkhana tunes now have their own individual pages, accessible from the sidebar at anytime. All of these tunes are still currently on the main page, but I'm not sure if I'll keep them there very long, as they may confuse me for future updates. Haven't decided yet.

The observational may notice another page as well... A little something I'm working on.
