Evo X High Speed Wobble

Well as far as GT5 goes you'll need more down force which more than likely applies to a real life Evo X as well.

A co-worker of mine has one with the basic upgrades (intake, full exhaust, bigger FMIC, bigger injectors, more boost, upgraded clutch & flywheel) putting down about 370 to the wheels. At 140+, there is no wobble like in GT5.

Oh okay well that's probably true but I think the OP has a fully tuned one with a lot more power which in turn obviously means a higher top speed in most cases.

You don't need a lot of power to get the wobble. Once you hit 150-155 you'll experience it with the G27. Another friend of mine has an Evo IX that is stripped and track prepped that does 150+ on the straightaways and doesn't have the wobble. It's not a real-life situation; it's a game/accessory issue.

Why do you keep bring up real life situations then? Yes more power which in most cases will make your car go faster means more wobble. If that Evo did 210 you're telling me you wouldn't see even a bit of wobble?

One other thing: If you install an LSD it will go away... But then so will the AYC's function.

this Evo X problem bugged me from the very beginning and reducing the AYC only does so much...but I havn't tried this idea yet. Kudos if it works, I'll test later.

edit: YOU BEAUTY!! Works perfectly with the LSD fitted!! Many MANY thanks!!

I don't even have to be going at high speed for mine to do it, any straight and its going from side to side, I tend not to use it online as people are probably wondering what the hell I'm doing

All you don't have any idea what you're talking about!
The AYC (Automatic dYrection Changer) is a system for defense your position on track. With this system you take more room on the track with the left-right movement, so this way is dificult to overtake you... Also entitles you to block/contact other drivers in some close battle times ("-Sorry for contact/block, is AYC fault") and confuses the driver in front of you when you apear and disapear in his mirrors and your attacks becomes unpredictable.
I love it!

XDDD

Anyone realize this? Evo X tends to wobble at high speed. Is this normal?(I'm using G27 wheel) Anyone got a Evo X in real life to verify this?

I heard something about this, I think the solution had something to do with adjusting the AYC

Interesting. I was racing my Evo IX and the same year STI last night, both tuned to 550pp, and the Evo was an unstable mess in comparison. I guess that would be why.
