I was re-reading the updates and I quite do not understand this sentence:


•*"Live-Dynamics" can be mapped to controller buttons for usage with other supported wheels.

Does it mean that we can map the live dynamics in our wheels (DFP)? or do we have to use a wheel and a sixaxis so we can use the live dynamics?

There's a new wheel with "Live-Dynamics" buttons on them.

Yes, I know about the Driving Force GT, but I was asking about what amar said about mapping the live dynamics buttons in a driving force pro or in a G25.
 
Thank you for the 4th update.
Now we are going to see better inside the cockpits :). Ahh no more tweaking the TV options. As well so ar we know F1 finger movements have been added :) neat.

I just hope that you will be able to create rooms for online play.

Private rooms
That's the only thing I am now waiting ,hoping and praying for.
Online will never be a truly great experience until we get them. Which is a real shame because like alot of people I've waited years for this feature.
 
Glad to hear that the London track has been fixed, because it was just too dark in the Japanese prologue.

I for sure know GT5 will have that feature. Since Kaz said that you would be able to create FAN Clubs, and challenge rivals, then creating rooms is a must.
I bet you, If the Euro or US version wont have that feature, There will be an update later on so we can test it out. Just like at first Japanese Prologue only had Japanese servers, but then It added US and Euro servers for limited time.
 
I sure hope we get private rooms in GT5, since all online games i've played have, so it doesn't make sense to me why Poly havn't put them in. :/

I am not worry about private lobbies, I am certain that we will get them in the full game. If Motorstorm had private lobbies........

Private rooms will be awesome, especially if we can gather a lot of forum members for some good, hard nosed racing. Back when they put up US servers, I had a blast with the other forum members I raced on there.

I guess you could map them on DFP, but then you'll loose left-right look for instance, because you need some buttons to map them to. G25 has a separate clutch-unit and enough buttons to map all functions.

That's the main reason I mentioned controller, since I could't see how you could map them on wheels other then DFPG or G25 without loosing some other functions.
 
I didn't go through the whole thread, so I don't know if this was asked. Even though you said the intro is different, is the intro song the same or different?
 
Let`s see, the live dynamics are 5 buttons, right? +, - dial (lef-right) and the enter.

So I have thought, example of mapping on a DFPro:

+ = L3
- = R3
dial left = L2
dial right = R2
Enter = Square button.

With this way we won`t loose anything, we will still have all the views on the D-pad.

Correct me if I am wrong...

Today I had a good evening racing just the two us, I did not beat you any race, but I had so much fun fot he clean race, passing each other in the turns. These races with more fair people would be awesome....

I know Jase, but I was trying to say, that we all know that we won`t have private lobbies in Prologue for the time being, but also everybody know that we will have lobbies in the full game. When I say i do not worry about lobbies is that I know we will have them sooner or later, of course, I say it again, Private lobbies now.

We will have to start a new black list.

The way I read it, is that he is not worried that private lobbies will be present in the full GT5 game (they will be) and that he can live without them for now (somewhat...)

Sooner rather than later. Man you know what it was like when the JPN version first came out.

That Blacklist is going to get pretty big
 
Amar: Try out the 512BB if you get a chance. If it sounds as good as you claim the F40 to be, I guarantee you won't be disappointed! :)

No offense, but are you purposely ignoring my posts? I've answered your question 2 times already.

The Viper in the game is a 2006 model. The wheels and color options give it away.
