Hi amar, could you please explain soemthing for me. I dont know whether you saw the post i made before, but could you please explain the QTS you did to the F40 to make it better. What did you do and basically how did that make it much better to drive.. Sorry if this is a stupid question. Cheers mate!

@ Amar, I know your busy and this has been answered before but I'm still confused when is the release of the Blu ray version is it before or after the PSN version out on the Thursday

The commercial reads 26/03/2008, but I think it will be on 28th on blu-ray and on 27th the PSN Store version.

There seems to be a lot of people mentioning how awesome it will be to drive the F1 cars around Nurburgring. I agree 100% with their excitement, but it appears these folks are under the impression that the 'ring is in fact, in Prologue. Can you set the record straight, and tell us whether or not Nurburgring is in GT5: Prologue?
No Nurburgring isnt in there from what I gather. The only new track is High Speed Ring. I wish they would replace that Elgar Harwood (or however it is spelt) with Nurburgring. I totally hate that track. And replace Daytona with Elcapitan , Trial Mountain or Midfield Raceway.
Decreased final-gear ratios, extend 2nd and 4th gear for some, made brake-bias 7-6 (F/R), hardedned the suspension, increased font-toe a bit and that's it. Same as I basicaly do with all cars I guess
Ok cheers, but what effect does that have in the game...sorry bout this, i dont know much about this stuff....

OOOwww everyone has so many questions. I will not add to them. Some games iv preordered in the past have come a couple of days early before release date from Amazon that is. Lets hope my Prologue i pre ordered a couple months back comes a few days early.

I can't wait to get my hands on the F40 and the F2007. Also I'm glad PD put one of their GT1 tracks in prologue (Then you can compare GT1 and GT5: p!)
Was looking forward to the starts using the Clutch and G25. Now it sounds abit boring

I'm curious as to how the wide theatre sound option will sound like when using a surround set that simulates surround coming from the stereo composite cables.

I doubt it will be mandatory. The only real benefit will be quicker loading times since the machine reads from the HD rather then trying to locate the data off a disk.

Since the console automaticaly launched the install process when disc was insterted, I presume it COULD be mandatory. I didn't try to abort the process, so that one you'll have to find out when you get the disc respectfuly.
And I guess that benefits are loading times. Notice that it takes barely 8 seconds from finishing the race, listing race results, cashing credits in, loading new-race-start screen, and actual begigining of the new race - as long as you're fast with tapping the X button.

I do have to give PD some credit for keeping the lid on this one. We all went through the list of Ferrari’s that we would like to see in the game but nobody picked the F1 out of the mix. How the heck did they keep it quite? How did they make hot monkey love to that car without someone seeing it?
As much as this game is a rehash of many of the same old stuff, it seems to still be all about the cars. Put the right cars in and most of us will be pleased. How many copies did PD just sell by adding the F1? Did we have this much love when they added Drifting, PhotoMode or B-Spec, how about just because they added a London track? Simply put….NO. Cars, Cars, Cars….We apparently want an automotive history lesson that is fun to boot. Agree or not?

There is one issue. Because i'm a big fan of Gt5 i'll play till i reach to 100%. I've bought al the cars in the Japanese version. but i doubt that i reach 100% in the EU version before 29 of april. Then Gta4 will be out and probably i'm going to play Gta4, but i don't want that i want too enjoy GT5 for the full 100%.
