…and back to the GT5P talk.

Since the blu-ray released date is 28th, I will buy the store version, what are the differences between blu-ray and the DL version? because I do not understand hoy the blu-ray installs 5gb and the DL version will be 1.8gb.

Hey Scaff (and all of you intrested of course), I just read your debate with Bjaelke regarding game-size. Notice that BR-game comes with 4 HD movies in GT:TV department - Mitsubishi Lancer X, and all 3 GT-R Special Episodes. As they're all HD movies with 5.1 sound without compression, I guess they're the thing which takes additional 4GB of install. However, you can later delete them from the game file if you want, thus reducing the overall game-install size.

Somebody asked me about the drift - I still haven't tried it, will do it later today in fifth update. I did a small fourth update this morning, it's in the first post.

Finger movement when shifting has been added, but unfortuantely I saw it only in F2007 replay (since I don't have the car myself). However, since it's just a small movement of the finger, maybe it's on all cars but just can't bee seen.

oooooooo ouch....no biggie though. Hey could you get some more pictures of that GT40 LM car man that thing is awesome.....

Is there any standing starts in the game Amar? or is it all Rolling starts?

Amar, good to hear from you and thanks for the latest update. The HD movies you mention would most certainly account for a good 4 gig worth of data, and make me quite happy that I have gone for the BR version. More videos (with 5.1 in particular) is good for me, and I'm certainly not worried about HDD space, 160 gig upgrade now makes more sense each day.

👍

Now I know that you have asked for no picture requests, but I promise to let you shoot me lots in COD4 if you can pop a couple up of pictures of the tuning and set-up screens. As I'm sure you know I've done a fair bit of GT4 tuning and want to put together some GT5:P specific guides, and a head start on the screens and values in use would be very handy.

Thanks in advance

Scaff

Amar 212 Thanx now i can't wait to get my pre-order,people remember this is just a demo of GT5 so it won't have everything the full game will, but maybe later there could be updates to add new things, you never know.To amar212 can you give us a rough idea how long or how many races it would take to get the F1 car, thanx.

:D Let's see..

Since the first event that can give you erious amount of money is A8, you have to spend all your credits at F430 fro that event. At that point, you have no money, while the prize for A8 is 20,000 credits.

From there on, you just have to drive and win that even for 100 times x 2:01 minutes needed for that lap. Add approx. 800 seconds (8 seconds is delay between ending the race and starting a new one), and you can make the math for yourself.

Of course, that's the case only if you can win each and every time you race that event, and somehow I don't think it'll be the case :).

In other words, way to F2007 isn't so easy :)

Cool, unexpected update.
That's a bit of a suprise that the Amuse GT1 has 7 gears, must have somthing to do with the high- rev range.
We will still get an update this afternoon, although there couldn't be too much more left to say, could there :) Also seems that if you go hardcore for the F2007, and spend your day doing it, should only take a few hours.

Hello Amar :)

There seems to be a lot of people mentioning how awesome it will be to drive the F1 cars around Nurburgring. I agree 100% with their excitement, but it appears these folks are under the impression that the 'ring is in fact, in Prologue. Can you set the record straight, and tell us whether or not Nurburgring is in GT5: Prologue?

So standing starts online? and you mentioned "cold tyres" in an earlier update Amar, dose this mean theres tyre wear? Great little bit of info on the lighting effects improvements, I'm suprised no ones mentioned it yet! Well I have now LOL
Cheers again for the excellent write ups and steady stread of info

But I suppose that we could DL all the extra material, couldn`t we?

The best way to get the F1 will be wining races online, but as you have said, not easy.

How do you know for sure? People are carrying on as if it's in there.

I am one of those who said that F1 + Nurburgring = divorce, I know that the ring will not be in Prologue, I was just talking about the full version.
