Hello to gtplanet, I finished S-Class today 1:30 am and have to say some things:
- Races in S-Class are pure nightmares
- Standard gearing in F40 makes me mad, 2nd gear over 190 km/h!
- Ford GT is a beast, magnificent sound and you must be very careful onto gas pedal, because it's torque is shaking with car's back violently even in standard mode and third gear when downshifting. But chrome logo on the steering wheel reflects the road instead of interior
)
- My Blue w/ White stripes Ford GT and my red F430 after one race transformed into white colour and so are they till now. Probably the worst game bug(
- Cannot imagine earning two millions for F1, even hunt for 450k for F40 was mad!
- Penalty system is very tight and sometimes frustrating, your opponents are ramming you and it's just OK, but you get penalties every moment. It's not good system at all.
- Hate the fact that races are not set separately for standard and professional mode, I would love to race all the game in professional mode, but from A-Class further, that's no go, unreal to win.
- Smoothness of the game is still not perfect, framerate drops are still perceived, mainly in replays and places when many cars are coming into the corner and all of them are on the screen, combined with dust clouds it's even worse. But race is almost perfectly consistent, sometimes it twitches when the car is beside you and when too many cars and/or dust clouds are on the screen, then framerate slightly drops in race too.
- I still love this GT so much and enjoying the High Speed Ring, one moment in replay when camera is flying over car and in the background, sky is reflecting in the dam, I'm just starring at it with open mouth...

I hate my computer. I can't watch the high mb videos without the player skipping around.
what pc have you got ? Try to install CoreAVC or use Media Player Classic - Home Cinema which has an integrated very fast AVC codec

I just have to say few words on these points:
- they are nightmare, but only compared to earlier races. In fact, no bugger once you dive in QTS,
- that's what QTS is for,
- you have to win FordGT Dealership Race to find out what real nightmare is
,- it also happened to me after I applied max-QTS to certain cars, incresaing their PSI value to maxxium. Once you put back "default" settings, car comes back in "original" color. It has to be a bug, I agree,
- I agree with 2M staement too
- It's actually improved compared to JP game, and you just have to learn how to deal with it (AKA, to drive 100% clean races),
- You can actually win almost all S venue races on Professional, only excerpt is S6 race (F40 on Suzuka),
- I would disagree, but whatever,

so here we go again. Two more videos of the Amuse / Opera Performance 350Z RS and the FordGT Concept by Gran Turismo, which I just purchased about 20 minutes ago. Just had enough money for both of them (playing all the evening just for you guys to deliver some more good looking cockpits :-)
Please bear with my driving I did my best on my first attempt because I just wanted to get the videos out quickly for you guys. I hope I am not that bad at driving :-(

It's really late here in Switzerland (actually 2 am and I just wanted to push out the videos so I hope the videos are fine, sorry for the big filesize but I did what I could do, original files were more than 500 mb so I think it's should be ok at around 140 mb for each file, sorry for all, who don't have the bandwidth to download the movie but for them I provided a screenshot so they don't miss everything)

I'm intrigued by the battle to get the f1 2007.
Once you get to the stage where you earn 20-30,000 a race you would have to race maybe 70 times... Seeing most races take 5 minutes max that is around 5 hours of gameplay... I would think that'd be easily worth it!
One thign that bugs me is the inability to test drive before buying and by that I mean even an interior view would be handy because in the case of the Lexus IS-F the interior is blue so by far the best exterior colour is the accompanying blue but you would never know that until after you'd bought it in whatever colour you' picked...

Sorry I meant after winning it all I realise you can't unlock the F2007 5 hours after starting the game. And you wouldn't have to use the same car or same race so that's introduce a bit of variety hopefully!
I reckon I could handle close to 5 hours driving the Ferrari F40, Ford GT, Ferrari F430 and BMW M3 Coupe seeing they are all cars you need to buy in order to finish the game.
Has anyone finished S class, what car does that unlock last time I checked Amar's review he hadn't unlocked it...

Actually, you need many more cars to finish all 4 venues - those are just some. Also notice that you'll need to buy some other cars for some races, although game does not specify what car you have to use.
After I finished A venue, I had just 7,000 credits
And after completing S I had 100 Prize car for S venue is GT-R Proto.
And just heading for F2007 is somehow doubtfull. I'd rather buy all other cars in the game before the F2007, if for nothing else, than to be prepared for the first online races and trials that should start in this week.
Quick question Amar, is London track included in any (even just 1 or 2) multiple car races in any of C, B, A or S events?

On-line races are restricted to car class or single make. Along with tyres and simulation.
And the pay out is relative to the difficulty of the race you enter (can't remember amounts ). And you get cash no matter where you place.

Question AMAR. Is the black flag system as touchy in the pal version to the japan version? I ask because I am totally frustrated with that black flag system. Its a pitty they save the penilty system for online races and keep it out of the offline races.
I have my copy paid for. So I just need to pick it up on friday morning. I might even download it on thursday too. I believe PD deserves what I give them.

Who thinks that Polyphony should change the gear changing contols. Instead of you pressing the button to change gear, you press the button to move the drivers arm to change gear. You can hear the car change gear before the drivers arm is at the gearbox to change the gear. Obviously the driver prepares to change gear at the red line but what when you want to change gear at a different RPM?????????
