@LJ12
Being a fan of all things Alfa Romeo, you'll probably like this :D

Pete, your car is complete. I couldn't squeeze much more than out of the suspension without loosing the overall balance of the car. (note the minor change in the suspension settings) So I am going to leave this car on a high with an excellent balance of control, precision and speed. The car will be put in the request section as per usual. Enjoy.

This tune is not the smoothest turning RX-7 Touring Car but it completely safe to use for DS3 users. It turns in well, has lots of grip on corner exit and can do Sub 2 min lap times at Silverstone and 1 min 25 second lap times on Brands Hatch Consistently.

I've really enjoyed this project and will take the final version for a test at Brands Hatch. Hopefully I can finally get that elusive 1:39 :D

I'll let you know the results as soon as I get the chance to put the helmut on :)

I think with a clean lap, this car should manage a 1.39 but that speed is beyond me personally. The car definitely has the ability to reach it now.

I tried adding you as a friend on PSN but I couldn't get your PSN Username to work. have you got a different username to the one listed on GTPlanet?

PSN probably didn't work cause I'm not online :guilty:.

Australian broadband leaves a lot to be desired. Even the top shelf deal is slow & prone to forgetting your a valuable customer :banghead:. Our infrastructure is so outdated, most people have a 6 month wait for connection!

I have to do all my updates at a friend's place with many thanks for his generosity

this is so awesome!!!! I'm using this setup for Nissan GT-R R35 Touring in Group GT3 Series races. wish me luck. You are the Man!!! just finished the Group GT3 Series, any kind of turn or curve on the track was nothing to the car & your setup. always with hp to spare regardless of the ai cars that would a way to catch up or bash me & run. the grip in each lap of every race was always there. thank you. awesomeness lives here on this page.
Hey, Just looking back through some old posts. Just to let you know, I have recently tuned the R35 Touring Car from this tune with a few improvements. The handling has been made a little more precise and more speed can be carried into the corners.

Usually GT1/2/3 and Touring Cars. I quite like hot hatch backs too. After using your 12SR tune I assure you I'll be trying others of yours. I haven't had much chance to play of late what with work and family commitments but when I do I'll let you know what I used and how it went.
Ive been busy this past week tuning up Touring cars. I have a few of them on the car directory in the first page if you are looking for something to cruise around in.

I will give 'em a go. Haven't touched GT6 in a bit now but I can't ignore it forever . I'll let you know what I think of them soon enough.

Like many others you are waiting for new content to try out? I log in every day just to keep 200% bonus and work on the cars I am in the middle of tuning. I am looking forward to new content and new cars though when they are released.

Exactly. Hot lapping and grinding the RB Champ. for credits can only hold my attention for so long. I didn't play GT5 very much initially until 2.0 so I'll probably end up doing something similar with 6 as well.

Hey Shaun,
Made the adjustments to the MiTo and ta da 1:39:918 on lap 13
It would've been sooner had I not been greedy at the last corner
Sector times said a 39 was on the cards and I got too excited, ran wide onto the grass & dumped it :banghead:
The basic GTA is now capable of low to mid 1:43's if you're on a flyer & wearing your heavy shoes :D
Thanks again Shaun for all your help with this. It's been a blast
If you ever want to do this again, please feel free to send a PM my way :D

Its always fun to turn a hot hatch into a mini racing car. Ill definitely be making more cars this way as it seems to iron out any imperfections which i can easily miss. Firstly I have to grind some RB Championships and get some credits in my account again. If you see a tune which I am working on which you think is interesting, give me a shout and ill make a custom version to whatever spec you want.

PM your 'to do' or WIP list if you like. We might have a match :D

Will do. Currently I have no WIP or to do list but this will change in a few days. I am going to be looking through my garage and also the dealership for interesting cars. Will PM you with the next batch asap.

@shaunm80, your MiTo tune is brilliant! You turned one of my favorite cars in GT6 to an absolute beast! Great job, sir 👍
Many thanks. The MiTo is an excellent car and this tune really compliments its sporty tendencies. Glad you like the tune.

If you are a fan of hot hatch's, you should try out the 470pp Mini Cooper S '11 tune I created for the FITT Hot Hatch Tuning Challenge. It has the same characteristics of the MiTo tune. (only british).

I`ll check it out as soon as I can. Thanks for the tip!

Next batch of tunes are as follows.

TRD Celica TRD Sports M (ZZT231) '00 (450PP SH Tyres)
Audi Coupe 3.2 Quattro '03 (450PP SH Tyres)
Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (C6) LM Race Car '09 (650PP RH-RS)
Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C6) LM Race Car '06 (Somewhere 620PP-650PP RH-RS)
Audi S3 '02 (450PP SH Tyres)
Volkswagon New Beetle RSi '00 (450PP SH)

+ a few project cars which I am working on.

@Pete05 - The three cars I have been working on for the project are ready for you to test. Will upload the tune sometime today for all three. I think you'll like the RX-8 now. I have tamed the rear of the car somewhat whilst keeping the front smooth.

Also, Other tunes are being worked on from the list above and will be published in the next few days.

Mmmmm the Audis sound good

Also, I tested the BMW 135i tune as a 1M & that thing put a big smile on this face :D

The Audi 3.2 Coupe is done. The Audi S3 is being published in the next batch as I didn't have the time to get that tune completed last night or this morning. The next batch is going to be fun though. Some may cross over into what your project cars will be. Im assuming you have a lot of pocket rocket vehicles on your list.

Yeah I like a car that punches above it's weight.
Years ago, I had a mate that had a little Datsun that would get blown off on the straights but be all over the V8's like a rash under brakes.
I also loved the early years of Group A racing & the mix of classes.
I've been looking at the new Audi RS3 & sort of thinking hmmm I wonder what they would've done 11 years ago to the A3 we've got in the game? A V6 screaming it's lungs out would have probably got the green tick. Can it be supercharged or turbo'd?

I prefer this one over the Z06. At least this sounds like a V8. The Z06 has no right sounding the way it does. As a result: No sale :grumpy:
