I've been driving all the December CoTM for a last time before selling them off to the highest bidder, still want to get the Cobra Daytona Coupe '64 and the GT40 Race Car and maybe the XJ Chrome line to park beside the regular XJ.
Nat.A 500PP Clubman Cup Race 1 Matterhorn - Rotenboden
Used SH to have a little competition, alas the AI drivers didn’t cooperate, the only thing that is an issue is accelerating out of curves, and the issue is not the car but driver control. Ok it was a little over powered for SH but I like feeling that I’m the one controlling a car and not just a passenger waiting to be delivered to their destination.
Int.B Supercar Festival - Silverstone International
Used SS, Drove cleanly, the only bump came from another car who suddenly decided to change lane as I was almost completely passed him, on the last lap the FXX was behind me ready to pass and I didn’t block him, just let him pass and took back 1st place on the last curve. I could say that the car oversteers but I have an issue with that term, is it the car that’s going to wide or is it the driver that’s pushing beyond the limits of physics, I just don’t know. Driving in the limits of the car it handles really well.
Super Willow Springs 20-mile challenge - SS
This was a little closer, finished 1st with 0.112 lead on the Huayra. Changed tires after 4 laps, came back in at position 13, made my way back up and finally passed the Huayra in those tight curves on the hill, on the last straightaway I was a bad boy
and blocked my competitor off, bad bad me
. On lap 7 on the last curve before the finish line I did go off track, so concentrated on catching up the lead car I forgot about tire ware and went sand collecting. I changed the power limiter just before the race to compensate for the oil usage. I hate oil changes, I always forget
. Again handled very well, my only concern is the color, it’s just not right for a sunday drive in the desert.
Best season wishes to you and your family.
