BMW Z4 GT3
The one thing ill say about the Z4 GT3 is that it may not be to everyones taste when it comes to GT3 driving. I found whilst tuning and testing that if i left the rear too neutral (i.e. not understeering), the amount of power in this car gave it tendencies to over steer and spin on me. Using a DS3, by the time I realised the car was spinning, it was already gone and I had no chance to salvage the rear to keep going. In the end, I went for a setup that understeers rather than over steers as it gave me the confidence to push through a corner knowing that if it went wrong, I would only have to lift off the gas and straighten the car up, as opposed to finding myself going backwards into or through a corner. I believe that other tuners have made a car which is more balanced (which I used before) but I was unable to keep the car in check all the time. This tune enabled me to do that fairly easily. Its a few seconds off the pace but id take a few seconds off the pace in a career race you are bound to win in, rather than lose a race because of a car due to spinning on the last lap.
Id be interested to know what other people think about this tune and if they agree the above information.
Also, Camber Testing.
I have just finished off tuning the Nissan Fairlady Z34 '08 car. The suspension settings I had felt good apart from the rear end which was sliding all over the place. In the case of this car, camber does, and has helped control this car and it feels so much better. This tune will be published soon, It would be worth anyone testing this tune to first try the camber set at 0.0/0.0 and then set the camber to the actual tune settings. This should help any GT6 players understand the difference that camber can make to some cars in the game.
